Homestead-Miami Speedway hosts the final race of the season, and it will decide the NASCAR Cup Series championship. The track is unique because its progressive banking lets drivers run right up against the wall. Those who can ride the wall the best will have the fastest cars on Sunday.

Top DraftKings Picks for the Championship Race at Homestead-Miami Speedway
- Denny Hamlin ($11,000) — The Las Vegas race in March began a run of top-five finishes, and he led 134 laps in that win. Six of his seven 1.5-mile races this year ended in the top five, with an average finish of 4.9. Homestead has brought a third in 2024 and a fifth last year.
- Tyler Reddick ($10,700) — His win in 2024 came from the pole with 97 laps led. This year he won at Kansas in April and led 119 laps in the Coca-Cola 600. His seven 1.5-mile races average a finish of 6.3.
- Ryan Blaney ($10,500) — Second-place finishes in 2023 and 2024 at Homestead were followed by engine trouble last year, which ended a day when he led 124 laps. His average running position at Homestead since 2022 is 4.9, which is where he ran on average during each race and the best number on the board. He has also finished fifth, fifth and third in his last three 1.5-mile races.
- William Byron ($9,700) — Sunday’s win at Martinsville came after he started eighth and led 362 laps. His average running position at Homestead since 2022 is 6.8, and his finishes there are 12th, 4th, 6th, and 12th. Byron won at Homestead in the old racing package (2021).
- Chase Briscoe ($9,900) — Back-to-back wins at Las Vegas and Charlotte in October came with 175 and 62 laps, respectively. A fourth-place finish at Homestead last year came after he started fourth. His earlier three Homestead finishes were 12th at best, but those were for a struggling SHR team.
- Kyle Larson ($11,500) — Two of the last four Homestead races went to him, in 2022 when he led 199 laps and last year after starting 14th. His average finish on 1.5-mile tracks this year is 8.1, which includes a win at Kansas in September with 235 laps led. He needs only nine points to clinch the title, so he has little reason to take the risk of running the wall for laps led.
- Christopher Bell ($10,200) — Charlotte in October ended in a second after 93 laps led, and he was sixth at Kansas in September. Homestead brought a win in 2023 from 13th, a fourth in 2024, and a 29th last year. His finish of 23rd at Las Vegas in October is another result to weigh.
- Chase Elliott ($9,000) — A win at Texas in May came with 87 laps led, and he finished second at Las Vegas in March and second at Martinsville on Sunday. At Homestead he led 81 laps and finished fifth in 2024, then ran 18th last year. His 1.5-mile average finish this year is 10.7.
- Bubba Wallace ($8,700) — Five of his seven 1.5-mile races this year ended in the top 10, including a fifth at Kansas in April. Third place at Homestead last year came after he started ninth and led 56 laps. The risk is the two misses, a 22nd in the Coca-Cola 600 and a 37th at Charlotte in October.
- Alex Bowman ($7,300) — He started from the pole last year and finished second, and he also ran seventh in 2024. Texas in May produced a third, but his other 1.5-mile finishes this year are 11th or worse. The Homestead record is the reason he ranks this high.
- Daniel Suarez ($6,900) — He won the Coca-Cola 600 after starting 14th (rain-shortened), and he finished sixth at Texas in May. His seven 1.5-mile races average a finish of 12.1. Homestead is the weak spot, with a 10th in 2022 and a 22nd last year.
- Shane Van Gisbergen ($7,000) — His last two 1.5-mile races ended with a ninth at Las Vegas and a seventh at Charlotte in October. Martinsville on Sunday brought a fifth after he started 29th. He has one Cup start at Homestead, the 32nd last year.
- AJ Allmendinger ($6,600) — Every Homestead finish since 2022 has been in the top eight, with a best of third. His average running position there is 10.9. The 2026 form is the problem, since his best 1.5-mile finish this year is 15th, so this is a bet on the track over the form.
- Chris Buescher ($7,500) — Sixth place at Homestead last year is his best finish there in four starts. He was fifth at Texas in May and 10th at Charlotte in October. His average finish on 1.5-mile tracks this year is 13.9.
- Austin Cindric ($8,500) — Kansas in September brought a second, and Las Vegas in October a fourth. Homestead is the weak spot, since his best finish in four starts is 12th. He also finished 38th in the Coca-Cola 600.
