William Byron will have the top starting position for Sunday’s Goodyear 400 as he claimed the pole in Saturday’s qualifying.
The 27-year-old has historically done well at the Darlington Raceway for this race, having won the 2023 Goodyear 400. He will have his chance at winning the race for the second time in three years.
Byron already took home a major victory this season, claiming the Daytona 500. It was his second consecutive win at Daytona. He will look to add a second victory to his 2025 NASCAR Cup Series resume on Sunday.
Ryan Preece and Denny Hamlin finished second and third, respectively, in the Goodyear 400 qualifying race on Saturday.
The Goodyear 400 will take place on Sunday, April 6 at 3 p.m. ET at the Darlington Raceway in Darlington, South Carolina.
