On Sunday night, DraftKings features a solid, six-game NBA DFS slate that tips off at 6:00 p.m. ET. Of the 12 teams in the player pool, three stand out as top options for stacking in your NBS DFS lineups. “Stacking” is the strategy of playing multiple players from the same team to get positive correlation if that team goes off for a big game.
Four games get going right at the start of the contest at 6:00 p.m. ET, including the Hawks, who are the only team playing for the second day in a row. Four of the other teams do have another game on Monday, so keep a close eye on the injury reports for the Celtics, Nuggets, Sixers and Raptors. Check back for updates on the daily injury report and be sure to adjust your lineup accordingly.

Philadelphia 76ers at Atlanta Hawks
The Sixers have lost multiple stars for the season and are also without other key contributors as they head to Atlanta on Sunday night. Tyrese Maxey (back/finger), Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee), Andre Drummond (toe), Adem Bona (ankle) and Lonnie Walker IV (concussion) are all out, which leaves plenty of work behind for the rest of the roster in what should be an up-tempo game against the Hawks. Atlanta plays at the second-fastest pace in the NBA this season, setting up plenty of possessions for Philly in this pace-up spot.
Core Plays: The Sixers were in a good pace-up spot against the Spurs on Friday as well, and Quentin Grimes ($9,000) continued to shine in a starring role. He had 25 points and 47.5 fantasy points, giving him at least 43 fantasy points in six straight games dating back to when he had 59.75 fantasy points against Atlanta earlier this month. It feels weird to pay $9,000 for Grimes, but he’s proven he can be worth it while carrying the Sixers’ offense.
Value Options: The supporting cast for Grimes includes Guerschon Yabusele ($5,200), who played 38 minutes on Friday and had 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and 43.25 fantasy points. He’s been one of the few bright spots for the Sixers this season and usually steps up when given a chance. Justin Edwards ($4,500) has also been busy and has 18, 19 and 25 points in his last three games for over 31 fantasy points in each contest. In the frontcourt, Chuma Okeke ($4,300) and Oshae Brissett ($3,800) have helped fill in with multiple big men out.
Denver Nuggets at Houston Rockets
The Nuggets are much healthier than the Sixers, but they’ll be without Nikola Jokic (ankle) for a fourth straight game as they head to Houston. While that could be a problem, it does look like they’ll have Jamal Murray ($7,900; ankle), Christian Braun ($5,800; foot) and Aaron Gordon ($5,700; calf/ankle) who are all probable.
Core Plays: Without Jokic, Murray, Braun and Michael Porter Jr. ($6,500) will all help carry the offense. MPJ has a tough matchup since the Rockets have been good against forwards, but Murray should find some room to operate if he’s close to 100%. Russell Westbrook ($7,200) has been helping pick up ths slack with 30+ fantasy points in seven straight games, including a throwback triple-double against the Warriors that earned him 63 fantasy points.
Value Options: The main value play without Jokic has been Gordon, who has gone off the last few games. He had 38 points and 48.5 fantasy points in the first game that Jokic missed and followed that up with 43.75 fantasy points against the Lakers and 32.75 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers. Under $6,000, he’s a great fantasy value on Sunday. Peyton Watson ($3,900) has scored double-digit points in each of the last three games as well, including a game with 30.75 fantasy points against Golden State.
Miami Heat vs. Charlotte Hornets
The Heat are seemingly doing all they can to fall out of the Play-In Tournament, dropping 10 straight games coming into Sunday night’s home matchup against Charlotte. Both Bam Adebayo ($8,500; knee) and Tyler Herro ($8,400; hip) are questionable, which could leave Miami extremely short on offensive options for what should be a relatively favorable matchup.
Core Plays: If either Adebayo or Herro plays while the other sits, the active star would command most of the offensive workload. Andrew Wiggins ($6,000) would have to carry most of the load if both are out, or he could step up as a secondary option if one or the other is sidelined. He has been in and out of the lineup with an ankle issue, but when available he has at least 19 points and over 30 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. He had 30 points and 40 fantasy points in 30 minutes against Houston on Friday.
Value Options: If Bam is out, Kel’el Ware ($5,000) would have to step into more work. The rookie has three double-doubles in his last four games with at least 37 fantasy points in each of those three games. Jaime Jaquez Jr. ($4,100) has been boom or bust in inconsistent playing time, but could step into a larger role along with Alec Burks ($4,100). Whether Herro is out or not, Davion Mitchell ($3,600) is a great value to consider since he has 12 points in four of his last five games with over 20 fantasy points in each of those four games.
