This season in college basketball, the priority dominant conference in the sport has been the SEC. The SEC has 14 teams in the field this season, the most ever for a single conference. The Big Ten has the second most with eight, while the Big 12 is behind them with seven teams in the bracket. The Big East does have a No. 2 seed in St. John’s but only got five teams in, as the Mountain West and ACC each have four teams. Here are my favorite two conference win total bets.

2025 NCAA Tournament Wins by Big 12 Conference (Over 11.5, -135)
This year’s March Madness tournament features seven teams from the Big 12: Houston, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Arizona, BYU, Baylor, and Kansas. I have Houston winning the National Championship, making hitting this total of over 11.5 wins much more manageable. That would mean all I would need is one victory from the remaining six teams in the conference.
Iowa State, Arizona, BYU, and Texas Tech all have the potential to make it to the Sweet Sixteen at least, if not farther. Baylor and Kansas are two teams capable of winning one game but are unlikely to pick up multiple victories. Not all conferences have a legit National Championship contender, but the Big 12 does. When you have an elite team like Houston and six other talented teams, getting over 11.5 wins is a good play.
2025 NCAA Tournament Wins by Big Ten Conference (Over 11.5, -105)
Although the Big Ten doesn’t have a No. 1 seed this season, they still have eight teams in the field: Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Maryland, Oregon, UCLA, Purdue and Illinois. Michigan State and Maryland are my two favorite teams in this conference, and I believe they will most likely make a long run.
Wisconsin is very capable of winning at least two games and has the potential to go on a Final Four run if John Tonje is playing at an elite level. The No. 5 seed, the Mighigan Worevines, won the Big Ten tournament championship last week but feels undervalued heading into the bracket. UC San Diego, their first-round opponent, is a popular upset pick. But with their elite frontcourt duo of Vlad Goldin, Danny Wolf, and Tre Dolandson, they could win a few games.
Getting the Big Ten to win more than 11.5 games in the NCAA tournament at -105 on DraftKings Sportsbook is a great value, considering this conference’s depth.
