The 2025 NCAA March Madness tournament begins this week, but before all the action on the court starts, DraftKings Sportsbook created a unique betting section for fans to get involved. The new section is labeled “Parlay the Bracket,” and you can pick teams to reach the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, Final Four, and who will win the National Championship on April 7 in San Antonio, Texas.

March Madness Parlay:
Houston to win the National Championship (+600)
Wisconsin to Reach the Elite Eight (+300)
Arizona to Reach the Sweet Sixteen (-180)
St. John’s to Reach the Sweet Sixteen (-170)
My parlay starts with my National Championship pick, the No. 1 seed Houston Cougars. Houston went 30-4 this season while winning the Big 12 regular season and tournament championship. The Cougars have won 26 of their previous 27 games and have only lost one since December.
Although Kelvin Sampson led Houston to the Final Four three years ago, this might be his best team. A tremendous guard trio of L.J. Cryer, Emanuel Sharp, and Milos Uzan leads this team. Uzan, in the Big 12 tournament championship, led the team in scoring with 35 points and four three-pointers. This team is deep, has plenty of scoring, and provides the necessary defensive toughness to go on a long run. Houston got a favorable draw in the Midwest, but they will still have to get past a veteran Tennesse team to reach the Final Four.
The second leg of my parlay is the Wisconsin Badgers to make the Elite Eight. They will likely have to get past No. 6 BYU and No. 2 Alabama to reach the regional final. However, Wisconsin has one player with an ability that few other teams possess. That guy is John Tonje, averaging 19.2 points per game and has totaled 26-plus points in two of the previous three games. He has scored 26 or more points eight times this season. Considering their upside, getting them at +300 on DraftKings Sportsbook is a good value.
Arizona lost to Houston in the Big 12 championship but beat Kansas and Texas Tech last week. To reach their third Sweet Sixteen in the past four seasons, the Wildcats will need to get past Akron and the winner of Oregon vs. Liberty. Arizona’s top three guards, Caleb Love, Jaden Bradley, and KJ Lewis, are essential for the Wildcats’ success.
St. John’s and Rick Pitino must defeat Omaha and the winner of John Calipari vs. Bill Self to get to his first Sweet 16 since 2015 to close out the parlay. St. John’s has been excellent this year, going 30-4, and has won 19 of their last 20 games. RJ Luis Jr. and Zuby Ejofor lead the way for the Red Storm. Luis and Ejofar combined for 49 points against Creighton in the Big East Championship.
