Sum of Men’s 2025 Final Four Seeds (Under 11.5, -150)
This year’s No. 1 seeds are Auburn, Duke, Houston and Florida. I believe this season’s No. 1 seeds are very talented and maintain a wider margin above the rest of the field than usual. Duke, Florida, and Houston all won their conference championships last week.
Surprisingly, the total sum of the Final Four teams this year is set at 11.5. You can get the under at -150 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Although the total number of seeds in the Final Four was 17 last year, it was inflated due to a No. 11 seed, N.C. State, making the semifinals. This has been a trend lately; the over has hit for this prop in the last four years.
Yes, throughout the last 10 years, the total sum of the Final Four seeds has only been under 11.5 twice. But besides Auburn, all of the other No. 1 seeds are on fire heading into the tournament, and it seems this could be an outlier year. Three of the four No. 1 seeds have four or fewer losses. Out of the No. 1 seeds, Florida and Auburn seem to have the most challenging road to the Final Four.

Although the top seeds this year are all excellent, upsets in March are bound to happen. With a healthy Cooper Flagg, Duke has been the most dominant team this season, but close behind them are the Houston Cougars. Those are the two No. 1 seeds that I am most confident in, as Auburn’s recent struggles and Florida’s inexperience are worrisome. In the previous 20 years, three No. 1 seeds have made it to the Final Four once, and the same is true for all four No. 1 seeds.
