Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder at San Antonio Spurs ($10,500) — The potential 2025 NBA MVP is the No. 1 spend-up option, and if you’re fading him, you’re either a genius or a masochist with the value available on Sunday’s slate. OKC’s laying -13.5 against the Spurs with a monstrous 124.5 implied team total—highest on the board. SGA’s dropping a 53.8 PPG projection (53.3 season average), and San Antonio — sans Wemby — ranks 18th against guards over the last five games. That’s against the modern guards infected with the three-point virus. SGA penetrates. He drives and scores in the paint. The Spurs won’t have an answer. At 5.1x value (conservative projection), he’s the cash game lock you build around. Period. GPP? Sure, pivot if you’re feeling spicy, but don’t cry when he drops 70 DKFP and others are holding a bag of chalk dust.

Davion Mitchell, Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks ($4,400) — He’s the sneaky GPP play nobody’s touching because he’s Davion Mitchell. The Heat’s injury report is brutal—Jaime Jaquez Jr. (doubtful, right ankle sprain), Nikola Jovic (out, right hand broken), Dru Smith (out, left Achilles surgery), and Andrew Wiggins (doubtful, right ankle sprain)—leaving minutes wide open for this PG/SG hybrid. His season stats (6.9 PPG, 1.9 RPG, 4.5 APG, 17.8 FPPG) underwhelm, but his recent game log screams upside: 29.25 DK points against Indy on 2/28 (37 mins, 7-17 FG, 8 AST), 34.5 against Atlanta on 2/26 (37 mins, 8-11 FG, 6 AST), and 22.5 against Toronto on 2/21 (34 mins, 9-13 FG, 1 STL). With the Knicks’ 17th-ranked DvP (last five), Mitchell’s 25.5 PPG projection and 5.8x value projection make him a low-owned dart with a ceiling of 30+ DK points. Cash? Risky if minutes dip, but GPP? Lock him in before 6:00 PM ET and watch this $4K bargain torch the field while DFS players chase Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($9,800) — The King is questionable because of course he is. The Lakers get a run back with the Clippers in a +2.5 dog spot (219.5 O/U). The King’s been a fantasy beast lately (55.9 FPPG over the last 10), and his 49.5 DKFP projection feels like a floor against a Clippers defense that’s 29th in DvP over the last five. SF/PF eligibility is gravy. If he plays, he’s chalk city. If he sits, pivot to value and send me a thank you note later.

KJ Martin, Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Pelicans ($4,000) — Utah is NBA DFS. Its injury report holds slates hostage. The gold nuggets — value picks — are mined in the mountains of Utah. Martin is the contrarian GPP dart you didn’t see coming for Utah’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans (-6.5, 232.5 O/U) on March 2, 2025, as the Jazz’s frontcourt is decimated by injuries—Jordan Clarkson (out, left plantar fasciitis), John Collins (out, low back), Taylor Hendricks (out, right fibula), Walker Kessler (out, rest), Lauri Markkanen (out, low back), and Collin Sexton (out, left ankle) are all sidelined, leaving Martin primed for a massive minutes bump. His 24.8 PPG projection and 6.2x value projection scream upside at this $4K price, especially against a Pelicans defense ranked 28th in DvP over the last five games. With recent games hitting up to 29.25 DK points, he’s got a ceiling of 30+ in this pace-up spot, and his single-digit ownership makes him perfect for tournaments.

Isaiah Hartenstein, Oklahoma City Thunder at San Antonio Spurs ($6,400) — OKC’s undervalued center vs. San Antonio (+13.5, 235.5 O/U) shines with Chet Holmgren out, offering a 34.3 PPG projection and 5.4x value against a 20th-ranked Spurs D. In OKC’s 124.5 implied total, he’s a low-owned cash floor or GPP ceiling play.

Kyle Filipowski, Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Pelicans ($5,200) — The Utah kids are a thing in NBA DFS. The rookie from Duke is the slate’s “who is this guy?” breakout for a normie. DFS players are very familiar with the Utah kids. Utah’s got a +6.5 spot against New Orleans (232.5 O/U), and Filipowski’s 32.3 PPG projection with a 6.2x value projection is straight-up disrespectful to his salary. The Pelicans are 28th in DvP (last five games), and with bigs like John Collins and Walker Kessler tagged “Questionable,” he could see monster minutes. Cash or GPP, jam him in and laugh at the $5K price tag.
