It’s another intermediate track this week, but the Fantasy NASCAR Homestead-Miami race is a different beast. DraftKings is hosting a NASCAR DFS $100K grand prize GPP for this unique track on Sunday. 1. Kyle Larson ($11,000) — Homestead is Larson’s home. Home is where the heart is, but not every home is a healthy home, and heart can become heartbreak when a stock car hugging the wall hugs too hard. Larson runs all-or-nothing in Miami. He consistently dominates… and DNFs.
2. Tyler Reddick ($10,700) — The other resident rim rider is Reddick. He rips the wall with reckless abandon. Fast laps are on the line, and the racing line is an inch from the fence. Reddick goes where few go.
3. Ryan Blaney ($10,000) — While not considered a rim rider, Blaney knows his way around Miami. He earned a runner-up finish in the last two Homestead races (82 and 73 DKFP) and a podium in three of the last five.
4. A.J. Allmendinger ($7,000) — It’s Dinger Season. No one doubts his talent. His career has been disappointing because he’s always in the wrong spot at the wrong time. For the first time, he has a competitive car in a balanced series. The Dinger has been a top-five driver at Homestead over the last two seasons.
5. William Byron ($10,500) — Homestead is a unique intermediate track — history matters. Byron has history. He owns the second-best driver rating over the last six Homestead races. He won at Homestead in the old racing package in 2021, but he’s just as fast in the Gen-7 car.
6. Christopher Bell ($10,200) — It’s strange, but Bell doesn’t like Homestead that much. The elite dirt racer is expected to love running the high line like the cushion at Eldora. Despite his disdain, Bell has earned a top-five driver rating in the last two Homestead races.
7. Denny Hamlin ($9,700) — JGR didn’t have the cars last week at Las Vegas. That’s a concern, but this is a new week, and it’s a different track. Hamlin has a top-10 driver rating in five of the last six Homestead-Miami races.
8. Chase Elliott ($9,500) — There are haters and lovers. The most popular driver in NASCAR is divisive, but NASCAR DFS players must be objective. What are the facts? One fact is that Elliott earned the second-highest driver rating in the 2024 Homestead race by being fast on pit road and restarts.
9. Austin Dillon ($6,300) — Homestead is Dillon’s best track. RCR may not be as quick as the rest, but they have a habit of showing up with speed and surprising NASCAR DFS players. This could be one of those weeks for Ace and RCR.
10. Carson Hocevar ($7,500) — The Spire cars are inspired. They’re fast enough, and the Gen-7 car is as stock as it gets. Anyone can finish top-10. Hocevar finished ninth at Homestead as a rookie in 2024.
11. Ryan Preece ($7,200) — Running hot laps in practice at Homestead is not the same as racing at Homestead. Practice times can be deceiving. Some drivers can run the ideal line and post premier practice times, but they can’t find the alternative routes in the race that are necessary to pass. Preece won’t post in practice, but he can pass in the race.
12. Alex Bowman ($8,600) — The Showman shows up. He’s solid. It’s as simple as that. It’s not a showy fantasy NASCAR pick, but Bowman nails his part in the show. He’s a supporting character who hits his marks — plus pit stops, restarts, and qualifying — so the show can go on.
13. Joey Logano ($9,200) — Homestead hasn’t been great for Logano over the last half-decade, but never count him out. No one gave Logano a shot in the 2018 Homestead Championship race, but his short-run speed earned him a win and the Cup Series Championship.
14. Josh Berry ($7,700) — Is the Wood Brothers’ No. 21 Ford for real? Is their technical alliance with Team Penske stronger? Is it just that Berry is better than Burton and DiBenedetto? Berry finished fifth at Phoenix and won last week at Las Vegas.
15. Ross Chastain ($9,000) — The Floridian hasn’t been great in Miami. He’s been pretty solid this season with one exception — Daytona. Outside of Florida, his average finish in 2025 is ninth.
