I know everyone was watching hockey last night, but it’s time to turn the page back to basketball.

SF/PF Taurean Prince, Milwaukee Bucks at Washington Wizards, $4,800

Milwaukee feels like a team you’ll have to keep an eye on this evening, as the Bucks play for the second time in as many nights. Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,500; calf) did return from a six-game absence on Thursday, yet he was limited to just 23.5 minutes and there’s a decent chance he’ll now be rested to finish off this back-to-back set. Even if he does end up available, his teammate, Taurean Prince, is an appealing value option. Over his last three contests, the veteran wing is averaging well-over 30 minutes per start, while also producing 14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 27.9 FPTS. If his role stays consistent against the Wizards, expect Prince to do some damage in a matchup with the team that is surrendering the most FPTS per game to opposing power forwards.
PG/SG Cole Anthony, Orlando Magic vs. Memphis Grizzlies, $5,100
The Magic are another team that’s on the second leg of a back-to-back set, which means we don’t yet officially know if Jalen Suggs ($7,100; quad) will be making his return to the lineup on Friday — he won’t be. That should translate into another start for Cole Anthony, who looked very good in Thursday’s 114-108 victory over the Hawks. In 31.7 minutes of action, Anthony poured in 17 points to go along with five rebounds, three assists and three steals. All told, the former first-round pick would finish with a 21.8% usage rate and 35.25 DKFP. As a starter in 2024-25, Anthony is putting up 14.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists. I’m anticipating a similar type of performance from the guard this evening, in what should be another uptempo spot. Atlanta ranks second in the NBA in pace (104.1). Memphis ranks first (104.5).
C Bismack Biyombo, San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons, $3,300
Did Bismack Biyombo blow me away last night with his first start of 2024-25? No. Still, in 16.2 minutes of work, the veteran big man registered eight points, three rebounds, two assists and 16.25 FPTS. That’s roughly 1.00 FPTS per minute played, which can not go overlooked. It’s unclear how much the Spurs are expecting from the former lottery pick, but Biyombo’s only 32-years-old. This isn’t a Taj Gibson situation. In theory, he’s got enough left in the tank if San Antonio calls upon him to log 20-25 minutes — and it might need to. Victor Wembanyama (shoulder) is now lost for the season. Charles Bassey (knee) is hurt. Zach Collins got traded. There’s not a ton of depth here and, for some unknown reason, DraftKings pumped up the price tag on Sandro Mamukelashvili ($3,900) despite him not seeing the floor on Thursday. Biyombo’s worth a shot at just $300 over the minimum.
