The last Thursday of January is here, and three top 25 teams in the latest AP Poll will compete tonight. No. 18 kicks off the slate at 8:30 p.m. ET against Nebraska in Lincoln. The Memphis Tigers will look to win their fourth straight game against Tulane tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET. No. 16 Oregon looks to revenge their previous loss against the UCLA Bruins in Los Angeles at 10:30 p.m. ET.
Here are my two favorite player prop bets for tonight’s CBB slate on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Kylan Boswell 13+ points (-130)
After two up-and-down years at Arizona, former five-star G Kylan Boswell has fit in perfectly with Illinois. He is averaging 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per contest. All of which are career highs.
He had a slow start to the season scoring the ball but has started to heat up lately. Boswell has totaled 13-plus points in his last four games and nine of the previous 12. He is coming off a big performance on Sunday, when he scored 17 points, grabbed six rebounds, and had four assists against Northwestern.
Boswell has attempted at least 10 field goals in seven of the 10 games. Boswell will have a great chance to score more than 13 points tonight if he continues to be a focal point for Illinois’ offense. You can get Boswell’s to score 13-plus points at -130 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jackson Shelstad 14+ points (+105)
This season, Jackson Shelstad has been the Ducks’ second-leading scorer (12.7) behind Nate Bittle (12.9). Shelstad has had double-digits in his previous six games and eight of the last nine. Shelstad is +105 to score 14 or more points against the UCLA Bruins.
Although Shelstad only scored 11 points against the Bruins on December 8, he has been a much more consistent scorer recently. He has hit this mark in five of the past six contests. Since Oregon’s last loss to UCLA, Shelstad has had double-digit field goals in eight of 10 games. Shelstad is vital to the Ducks’ bounce-back against the Bruins tonight.
