For the second year in a row, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be one of the PGA TOUR’s eight Signature Events of the season. As a Signature Event, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a no-cut tournament that features 80 golfers competing for a $20 million purse. Previously, this tournament had hosted a full field and featured a cut. Another change from last season that is continuing this year is the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will only feature two courses after featuring three before becoming a Signature Event. This week, every player of this 80-man field will play one round at Pebble Beach Golf Links (par 72, 6,972 yards, POA annua greens) and Spyglass Hill (par 72, 7,041 yards, POA annua greens) and then, the field will return to Pebble Beach Golf Links for the final two rounds.
Wyndham Clark won last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at -17, which was one shot clear of Ludvig Aberg. With three of the four rounds being played at the Pebble Beach Golf Links and all the previous SG data for this event coming exclusively from this par 72, Pebble Beach Golf Links is the host course and the venue we need to be focusing on for research.
The world-famous Pebble Beach Golf Links is a short, seaside venue that features tiny greens, 116 bunkers and water in play on only one hole. Navigating Pebble Beach Golf Links off-the-tee isn’t difficult and succeeding at this second-shot course all boils down to having a terrific showing with your irons and putter. Of the last five winners of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, three have finished the event top-15 in SG APP and three have finished the tournament top-three in SGP. Additionally, five of the 10 par fours at Pebble Beach Golf Links land between 400-450 yards, making this the most crucial length of hole this week. Over the last three years, two of the players to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am have finished the week top-10 in efficiency on the 400-450-yard par fours of Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Below, I break down four of my favorite DraftKings bargain plays for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, all priced under $7.5K.

Thomas Detry ($7,400) – Detry was in the mix for a win at last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, finishing T-4th, and the Belgian professional returns to Pebble Beach on the heels of a T-15th finish at the Farmers Insurance Open last week. Detry was one of only 10 players to gain strokes in every major category at this event, which was very impressive given the difficult conditions at Torrey Pines.
The 32-year-old has carded a top-15 finish in two of his first three starts of 2025 and he ranks fifth in SGP when we compare this field’s last 50 rounds. An efficient flat stick is essential to contend at Pebble Beach and Detry’s hot putter should carry him to another high finish this weekend.
Nick Taylor ($7,200) – Taylor’s game is ascending right now. After picking up his fifth career PGA TOUR win at the Sony Open, Taylor finished T-12th at the American Express the following week. At both these events, the Canadian gained over 4.0 strokes on approach and over 2.0 strokes with his putter. Furthermore, Taylor shot under par in all but one of these eight rounds.
Now, Taylor brings this outstanding form to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which is an event he won by five shots in 2020. Taylor has tallied a top-20 finish in four of his past eight starts at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and is one of the best targets available at this affordable salary.
Denny McCarthy ($7,000) – McCarthy has finished T-12th, T-4th and T-26th at the last three AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Ams and he is fresh off a T-16th at the Sony Open. McCarthy opened this event with a 9-under 64 and he finished the week top-10 in both SG APP and SGP. McCarthy has finished T-26th or better in four of his last five starts, and he ranks eighth in SGP over his last 50 rounds.
McCarthy simply shouldn’t have been priced this low and is a must-play at this cheap salary.
Mark Hubbard ($6,700) – Hubbard is one of the best sub $7K options this week. The veteran has made six cuts in a row and four of these finishes have been top-25 results, including a T-12th at the American Express two weeks ago. Hubbard has gained strokes on approach at three consecutive events and if he maintains this form as a ball striker at Pebble Beach, Hubbard should add another quality finish to his resume at the famous venue.
Hubbard has finished T-20th and T-4th at the past two AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Ams, and during that latter finish last season, he finished second in SGP, only trailing the winner in Clark.
