Sepp Straka ($7,600; 146.5 FPTS) was flawless for the first three rounds of The American Express. There were no bogeys and he drained seven birdies on Thursday, eight on Friday and another eight on Saturday to head into the final round with a four-shot lead over the field.
The status quo remained, as he notched three birdies on the front nine and drained another on Hole 13 to maintain the unblemished tournament. Straka ended up bogeying two of the last three holes, though, to end the day with a two-under 70.
Fortunately, he built enough of a cushion through the first three days that he ended two strokes better than the field at 25-under for his third career PGA victory.

In the $500K Pitch + Putt tournament, Straka was rostered on 14.2 percent of teams.
