Since the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Cup Finals, they are 3-5 in their previous eight games. Tonight, the Toronto Raptors host the Bucks at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Bucks beat the Raptors 99-85 in their first matchup this season on November 12.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 32.3 points to lead the NBA in scoring. He also is averaging 11.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.5 blocks. Let’s look at my favorite prop bet for the Greek Freak for tonight’s game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo over 2.5 Steals + Blocks (-130)
Although Antetokounmpo is an incredible scorer and rebounder, he also affects the game in so many other areas. Antetokounmpo has totaled more than 2.5 combined blocks and steals in seven of the previous eight games. You can get him to hit this mark at -130 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Raptors allow the third most steals (9.8) and blocks (6.1) per contest to opposing teams this season. Antetokounmpo had four blocks against Toronto on November 12. He has had three blocks in five of his last eight contests. While Antetokounmpo’s total in points is at 31.5, looking at a different area to back him in is wise. The Greek Freak has also had two or more steals in five of the past seven games.
He averaged 2.8 steals and blocks in December, a 0.4 increase from November. In his two games in January, he totaled eight blocks and steals. Antetokounmpo has continued to improve in these departments, and this is the safest prop bet for him currently.
