Jonathan Kuminga sprained his right ankle late during Saturday’s game, landing awkwardly after trying to block a shot.

During the postgame press conference, Steve Kerr said that the injury was “significant.” On Sunday, it was announced that Kuminga will be re-evaluated in three weeks.

Kuminga’s game began to flourish since coming off the bench. Over the last games since being removed from the starting lineup, Kuminga averaged 20.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 28.1 minutes.

Kerr said that Kyle Anderson will see an increase in playing time with Kuminga out.
