Let’s explore Sabonis’s best asset: his elite rebounding ability. He has had over 14.5 boards in six of the last ten contests, including three 20-rebound games. On Wednesday, he had 21 rebounds, a season-high in his previous game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Sabonis’ over in rebounds is -135 on DraftKings Sportsbook against the Grizzlies. He only had 13 rebounds against Memphis on December 5 but had 15 or more in the previous three matchups. Sabonis has hit this rebound total in four of his last five games. He is grabbing 21.8 percent of total rebounds while he is on the floor. That ranks second in the NBA behind Karl-Anthony Towns (22.9 percent).
Sabonis is the best rebounder in the NBA. He is also an excellent defensive rebounder while averaging 3.8 offensive boards per contest, the second-highest average in the league. For Sabonis, double-digit rebounds are a lock, as he has done so in every game this season but two. Although his total of 14.5 rebounds is high, he has shown that he possesses the skills to grab 20 boards on any given night.
