Week 15 of the NFL season has arrived, which means it’s time for the fantasy playoffs! Do you have tough lineup decisions to make in this must-win matchup? I’ve got you covered.
Let’s break down my Week 15 start ’em, sit ’em fantasy football TE picks.
Start ‘Em: Zach Ertz (Commanders) at Saints
Ertz entered the Week 14 bye on a roll, having racked up at least 12.5 PPR points in three straight outings.
The 34-year-old certainly isn’t showing his age, consistently seeing a high snap share while remaining heavily involved in Washington’s passing attack. Ertz has received 29 targets over the Commanders’ last four games, finding the end zone in each of his last three contests.
This week, he draws a favorable matchup against the Saints, who allow the fifth-most passing yards in the league. Fire up Ertz as a solid TE1.
Sit ‘Em: Pat Freiermuth (Steelers) at Eagles
Freirmuth has found the end zone in back-to-back games, but outside of touchdowns, his production has been relatively lackluster for most of the year.
The Steelers simply don’t utilize their tight ends much in the passing game, reflected by Freirmuth’s subpar respective snap and target shares. There are certain matchups in which the 26-year-old could be started, but that’s not the case against an Eagles defense that allows the second-fewest passing yards per game.
There are better options out there at tight end than the touchdown-or-bust scenario Freirmuth presents.

Start ‘Em: Hunter Henry (Patriots) at Cardinals
Henry has been a beacon of consistency in an otherwise underwhelming group of pass catchers, clearly standing alone as Drake Maye’s top target. Now, he did virtually gift the Colts an interception in the end zone last week, but the veteran will bounce back.
Henry has now seen at least eight targets in five of New England’s last seven outings, giving him an incredibly solid floor. He’ll sit in the low TE1 range once again this week in Arizona.
Sit ‘Em: Kyle Pitts (Falcons) at Raiders
I didn’t think I would have to tell people not to start Kyle Pitts considering his recent production — or should I say, lack thereof — but here we are.
The former fourth overall pick still has a shockingly high start percentage across major fantasy platforms, despite failing to score a whopping THREE fantasy points in four of his last five outings. Even if the Raiders are a favorable matchup, do not start Pitts with Atlanta’s offense in its current state of disarray.
There are better options out there.
