NASCAR is headed to Alabama for its next races. The Truck Series is off, but the Cup Series and Xfinity Series will both be in action. It’s a light weekend at the Talladega Superspeedway, with neither series opting for a practice session and just jumping into qualifying. The events start on Friday, April 19 and run through the weekend, culminating on Sunday, April 21.
The Cup Series will run the 2024 GEICO 500 on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on Fox. Qualifying will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 10:30 a.m. ET on FS1. William Byron, Ryan Blaney and Brad Keselowski are all tied with the best odds to win this race at DraftKings Sportsbook. The trip is installed at +1000 and is followed by Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott all at +1100.
The Xfinity Series will complete the Ag-Pro 300 on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on Fox. Qualifying will be held on Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET on FS1. Austin Hill has the best odds of winning the 2024 Ag-Pro 300 at DraftKings Sportsbook. He’s installed at +400 and is followed by A.J. Allmendinger (+1000), Sheldon Creed (+1200), Riley Herbst (+1200), Justin Allgaier (+1200) and Jesse Love (+1200).
