We’re now officially through 12 weeks of the regular season. For some fan bases, that means dreams of a Super Bowl Championship are still alive and well. For others, it means already looking towards the future. 2025 to be specific. There are some gems at the top of next year’s NFL Draft in the form of Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and Cam Ward. Which teams are in-line to pick those players? Let’s break it down.
While there isn’t a clear and obvious worst team in the league, the Giants certainly took some steps this week to try and secure their place atop the NFL Draft order. I mean, that’s the only reason I can fathom willingly starting Tommy DeVito. New York lost 30-7 to the Buccaneers on Sunday in a contest that never even felt that close. Heck, they were out-gained 450 yards to 245 yards and most of the Giants’ total came in garbage time. New York has now dropped six games in a row, and though Jacksonville still currently owns the No. 1 pick, they might welcome Trevor Lawrence back sometime soon. The Jaguars also play the Titans twice before this seasons ends.
