The 100th UFC Fight Night, taking place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, is here! No. 15 Neil “The Haitian Sensation” Magny headlines the event against rising prospect Carlos “The Nightmare” Prates.
Former UFC Bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt was initially scheduled to face Miles Johns in the co-main event. However, that fight was canceled earlier this week after Garbrandt had to pull out for undisclosed reasons. The new co-main event features a three-round bantamweight bout between Ricky Turcios and Bernardo Sopaj.
The Prelims will begin at 4:00 p.m. ET, with the Main Card starting at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Check out my favorite fighters to add to your daily fantasy lineup for Saturdayโs UFC Fight Night: Magny vs. Prates.

Studs
Mansur Abdul-Malik ($9,300)
The eighth season of Dana White’s Contender Series was a massive success. One of the biggest winners of this year’s season was Mansur Abdul-Malik. The 27-year-old knocked out Wes Schultz in the second round during the show’s first week. He is 6-0 in his MMA career, with a finish in each fight.
Abdul-Malik has one of the best coaches in the sport, Eric Nicksick, backing him along with the incredible team at Extreme Couture. Nicksick has played an integral part in developing UFC champions Francis Ngannou and Sean Strickland.
Two months after his debut on the DWCS, Abdul-Malik is ready to make his official debut for the UFC. He is facing Dusko Todorovic. Todorovic has been in the UFC since 2020 and is 3-4 in the promotion. Just like Abdul-Malik, Todorovic earned his contract through the contender series.
Abdul-Malik has a clear power advantage, and if he pressures Todorovic early in the fight, another highlight performance is likely in his future.
Reinier de Ridder ($9,100)
Reinier de Ridder is making his UFC debut against Gerald Meerschaert in a three-round middleweight bout. The UFC recently signed de Ridder, a former ONE Championship light heavyweight champion.
He is entering a new company and a new division. After leaving ONE Championship earlier this year, de Ridder knocked out Magomedmurad Khasaev in the first round at UAE Warriors 51.
The UFC didn’t put de Ridder up against a ranked opponent in his first fight but matched him up against 21-fight UFC veteran Meerschaert. GM3 is always a tough opponent for any fighter he is up against. He has won two fights in a row for the first time since 2021. Meerschaert is 2-0 in 2024 and has submitted both opponents in the second round.
Bryan Barberena and Edmen Shabazyan are good fighters, but de Ridder presents Meerschaert with an entirely new set of issues. de Ridder has a three-inch height advantage (6’4″ vs. 6’1″) and a one-inch edge in reach (78″ vs. 77″). 15 of de Ridder’s 17 MMA wins have come by finish.
He is a relentless finisher, and although you may say the $9,100 price tag is high for a UFC newcomer, de Ridder isn’t an average fighter. He has championship aspirations, and if he exploits Meerschaert’s weak 34 percent takedown defense, he will find success.
Value Play
Ricky Turcios ($7,200)
After Garbrandt vs. Johns was canceled, the UFC moved Ricky Turcios vs. Benardo Sopaj to the co-main event. Turcios has had an up-and-down start to his UFC career. He is 2-2 in the UFC, and most recently was submitted by Raul Rosas Jr. in the second round in June.
Sopaj, 24, is returning to the Octagon after being knocked out by Vinicius Oliveira in his UFC debut in March. Although Sopaj is the younger fighter by seven years, Turcios has the physical advantages. He has a massive five-inch reach advantage (71″ vs. 66″) while being taller (5’9″ vs. 5’6″).
Turcios is being disrespected because he is the seventh-lowest-priced fighter on the card, at $7,200. He is the underdog in this fight at +260 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Turcios struggles when the fight goes to the ground. If he can keep Sopaj at range and defend his takedowns successfully, he will have an excellent chance to win this fight. He has scored over 110 fantasy points in two of his four UFC fights.
