UPDATE 3:48 p.m. ET: For now, Jaylen Waddle is back in the game for the remainder of this Dolphins drive. There are less than two minutes to go in the game.
As the Miami Dolphins were charging down the field in hopes to tie their 20-27 game against the Buffalo Bills with just over two minutes left, Jaylen Waddle took a hit to his right lower leg and remained on the field for several minutes. The hit, in particular, looked to be to his ankle. Bills Safety Damar Hamlin delivered the hit.
He’d only managed one catch on the day, which was the one during which he suffered the injury. It was for 12 yards, but moved the sticks for the Dolphins during an important drive.
He was last seen headed to the sideline with medical trainers, likely headed into the blue medical tent.
