(Still wrapping your head around the major development from episode 7 of Agatha All Along? Here’s some of what could happen to the larger MCU.)
That’s right, Agatha All Along is doing another two-episode drop to close things out. Lots to unpack from the previous episode, but let’s get the planning out of the way so you know when you can watch this and avoid pesky spoilers.
All episodes of Agatha All Along have been dropping on Disney+ on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. After a show-opening two-episode drop, the next five came out individually. But Marvel is ending this show in the same manner that they started it. Both the penultimate and final episodes of Agatha All Along will be available on Wednesday, October 30 at 9 p.m. ET.
Timing notes
This show has had one episode be as short as 31 minutes and another run as long as 49. The latest lasted 36.
It’s hard to know where episodes 8 and 9 of Agatha All Along will land. Given the average episode length is just over 40 minutes and the first two episodes both ran over 40 minutes, planning for a total run time of 80-95 minutes (including credits) seems like the way to go.
Cast notes
(Warning: Spoilers for episode 7 of Agatha All Along ahead.)
- Episode 7 was all about Lilia, and it was a fascinating story. It seems more common that we see time-jumping done poorly, but Marvel came through this time. Made for one of the show’s more heart-felt episodes yet.
- Salem’s Seven appear to be a thing of the past, with Lilia taking them out at the end of her trial. Outside of The Road itself, it seems that just leaves one major obstacle left in Agatha and company’s path: Aubrey Plaza.
- Previously known as Rio, Plaza’s character was revealed to be Death. As much as episode 7 was all about Patti LuPone’s Lilia, Plaza’s character reveal was the ultimate jaw-dropper. There’s a lot that could be done with her character in these last two episodes given this development. But, Plaza’s impact could extend beyond Agatha All Along. (Go here for more on that potential.)
