Patrick Corbin ($6,700; 27.9 FPTS) was a popular option hosting the Rockies — he was rostered by 21% of the field in the $100K Relay Throw — and the pitcher was a tremendous value for those DFS players, striking out eight batters and only allowing one run in his six innings of work. Notably, the eight punchouts for Corbin set a season-high and this win also marked the 100th victory of the veteran’s career.
Also for the other Nationals, Juan Yepez ($3,600; 18 FPTS) hit a three-run homer and James Wood ($5,100; 18 FPTS) drove in two runs with a single and a stolen base. Furthermore, Luis Garcia Jr. ($4,900; 15 FPTS) and Jose Tena ($2,300; 15 FPTS) both had two hits and stole a base.
For the Rockies, Brenton Doyle ($5,600; 14 DKFP) went yard with a solo shot and Jacob Stallings ($3,800; 18 FPTS) hit a two-run blast.
