DJ LeMahieu leads Yankees past Phillies

The Yankees and Phillies concluded their marquee three-game series Wednesday with New York completing their sweep over Philadelphia, winning 6-5. Batting out of the eight spot for the Yankees, LeMahieu ($2,600; 29 FPTS) looked like his former All-Star self in this victory. The 36-year-old blasted the third grand slam of his career and also drove in two runs with a double. Given LeMahieu is batting a career-worst .182 this season, the veteran was only rostered by 6.9% of the field in the $100K Relay Throw. While all six of New York’s runs Wednesday came from LeMahieu, Giancarlo Stanton ($4,600; 8 FPTS) added a pair of hits and Nestor Cortes ($7,500; 19 FPTS) was solid on the mound, striking out six batters and only allowing three hits in his 5 1/3 innings pitched.

For the Phillies, Alec Bohm ($5,200; 19 FPTS) hit a double and triple, Nick Castellanos ($4,200; 12 FPTS) produced three RBIs and Weston Wilson ($3,500; 14 FPTS) went yard with a solo homer.

The Yankees and Phillies are undoubtedly regarded as two of the best clubs in baseball this season. On the DraftKings Sportsbook, Philadelphia carries the second best odds to win the World Series at +500, while New York is right behind them with the third best odds at +550.
