Week 9 of the NFL season kicks off on Thursday Night Football, with the Jaguars heading to Baltimore to face the Ravens. The play of Trevor Lawrence has flown under the radar to some extent this year even despite looking like an MVP-caliber quarterback – and if he were to play more rather than hitting the bench near the end of blowouts, perhaps he’d truly be a contender to win the award.
Here’s the best Trevor Lawrence prop bet for Jaguars vs. Ravens on Thursday Night Football in Week 9.

Best Trevor Lawrence prop bet for Jaguars vs. Ravens
Last season, Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars needed some time to gel with head coach Liam Coen, who was a newcomer to the franchise. After a slow first half of the campaign, the offense turned up the heat and was one of the best units in football following their bye week, a stretch which saw the quarterback catch fire. He finished the year with a career-high 29 passing touchdowns, setting the stage for a big 2026.
So far, Lawrence has delivered upon those expectations and then some. His numbers are impressive – he’s completed 65.7% of his passes for 1,690 yards and a 17-4 TD-INT ratio – but would arguably be even better if the Jags didn’t sit him for the fourth quarter (or more) of the second half when up big in multiple blowouts. Still, he’s playing at a truly elite level at the moment. The former No. 1 pick ranks fifth in EPA/dropback, ninth in CPOE and third in YPA among 35 qualifying quarterbacks. His 8.6% TD% is also an NFL-best mark, as is his 112.6 passer rating.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Lawrence’s player prop bet lines are set at O/U 235.5 passing yards and 1.5 passing touchdowns, also carrying a rushing line of 11.5 yards on the ground. His odds of an anytime touchdown are set at +400. As for the game lines, the Jaguars are a 10-point favorite with the total set at 39.5 combined points.
This game may not be particularly close, to be frank. The Jags are on the road, but they’re facing a Ravens team starting third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano with both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley sidelined due to injury. The rookie UDFA could truly struggle against an elite defense, plus, the Jaguars excel against the run, potentially allowing them to limit Derrick Henry’s effectiveness. Those factors set the stage for Jacksonville to control the football throughout the evening.
That’s crucial for the prop bet we’re looking at here. The under on 29.5 pass attempts looks quite good for Lawrence given the matchup conditions. His team is a heavy favorite and could face a relatively hapless offense, so assuming the Jags’ own attack takes care of business, this could become a blowout quite quickly. If that’s the case, there may be a quick hook for the star signal-caller. He’s been pulled early in multiple games this season with his team up by multiple scores, and Jacksonville isn’t a particularly pass-happy side to begin with. He’s thrown 29 or fewer passes in five of his seven appearances thus far, only eclipsing that number in a 19-17 comeback against the Eagles and a 34-31 loss to the Texans.
If the Jags get out to an early lead and keep scoring, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them go extremely run-heavy in the later stages or pull their quarterback entirely. This game shouldn’t be close, so I’m targeting this under on pass volume from Lawrence.
Best Bet: Trevor Lawrence under 29.5 pass attempts (-109)
