Macklin Celebrini, Sam Reinhart and Jack Quinn are three players I’m backing to find the net on Wednesday night. Here’s why they stand out among the anytime goal scorer options on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks for November 4

Macklin Celebrini Anytime Goal Scorer (+160)

Celebrini has scored in just two of his past 10 outings, but he has generated 5.24 xGoals across that stretch while scoring only three goals, and his 10.20 shots on goal per 60 rank 17th among skaters with at least 100 minutes of ice time. The 20-year-old leads the Sharks with 16 points and 54 shots, too.

He also draws one of the best possible power-play matchups on the board tonight. Los Angeles owns the league’s worst penalty kill at 61.5%, and Celebrini skates on San Jose’s top unit alongside Will Smith and Tyler Toffoli. Darcy Kuemper, who has won each of his past four starts, is expected to draw his ninth of the season with an .878 SV% and 3.65 GAA, and his -3.7 GSAx ranks 63rd among 74 goaltenders, while his -0.85% SV% above expected ranks 51st.

Sam Reinhart Anytime Goal Scorer (+140)

Reinhart has scored in six of his past 10 outings, including Monday’s 5-3 loss to Detroit, and his eight goals are tied with Carter Verhaeghe and Brady Tkachuk for the Panthers’ lead. The soon-to-be 31-year-old ranks 10th in xGoals per 60 (1.64) and leads Florida with nine high-danger unblocked shot attempts.

Most of that damage has come on the man advantage, with six of his eight goals and 22 of his 46 shots coming at 5-on-4. Chicago’s penalty kill sits in the middle of the pack at 79.6% (15th), but Florida’s power play converts at 23.5% (T-10th), and Reinhart has been its go-to finisher thus far.

Jack Quinn Anytime Goal Scorer (+220)

Ottawa has been without Linus Ullmark since he landed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury on Oct. 22, and the difference between the pipes has been a sight to behold. Samuel Ersson will likely draw the start tonight with an .866 SV% and 3.78 GAA, and his -3.2 GSAx ranks 60th, while his -1.17% SV% above expected ranks 55th.

Quinn has scored in five of his past 10 games, including goals in each of Buffalo’s past two outings, and his eight goals rank second on the Sabres behind only Tage Thompson. The 25-year-old’s 1.78 goals per 60 rank 27th in the NHL, and he skates on the second line with Noah Ostlund while still maintaining a spot on the first power-play unit. Five of his eight goals have come at 5v5 on just 2.22 xGoals, so he’s finishing well above expectation, but at +220 against a backup-level goaltender, he’s worth the play.
