There are plenty of ways to get involved on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my top three player prop bets for Wednesday’s NBA slate.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today

Tyrese Maxey Over 23.5 Points (-113)

Despite all the accomplished new teammates, it has become increasingly clear that the Philadelphia 76ers still run through Tyrese Maxey. The two-time All-Star is posting averages of 29.1 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game while logging 37.5 minutes per game. Even more notable, Maxey is leading the Sixers with 20.4 field-goal attempts per game, with Jaylen Brown posting the next-most on the team at 16.6 per contest. He has tallied over 23.5 points in all eight games this season, with 26 marking his current season low.

This includes one matchup with this Pistons team already this year. Detroit is responsible for handing Philadelphia its lone loss on the season, which came by a score of 106-93 on October 25. Maxey finished with 29 points in this matchup while shooting 11-for-24 from the field and 1-for-5 from beyond the three-point arc. This was also the fewest minutes Maxey has logged in a matchup this year, playing 33:42 of game time on the second half of a back-to-back.

With all the conversation about sacrifice on the loaded roster, not enough attention has been paid to the continued evolution of Maxey himself. The speedster has established himself as the clear lead scoring option, and this entire organization has accepted his role at the forefront of the offense. Even with Detroit offering a strong defense, Maxey had no trouble surpassing this total in the first matchup while struggling with his efficiency and will have some additional rest ahead of this matchup. Expect the Sixers’ star to maintain his strong start to the season on his 26th birthday and record over 23.5 points for the ninth straight game.

Cameron Boozer Over 14.5 Rebounds & Assists (-116)

The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the biggest surprises to start the year, currently sitting in second place in the Western Conference with a 6-1 record. Third overall pick Cameron Boozer has played a major role in spearheading this, flashing the potential to be the foundational piece of the organization that Memphis hoped for. Through his opening seven games, Boozer is posting averages of 17.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game. Even while his efficiency has not been to the expected standard, connecting on just 37.5% of his shots from the field, the Duke product has consistently found ways to make a positive impact.

Memphis will look to continue its strong start in a matchup with the Indiana Pacers tonight. Injuries have once again prevented the Pacers from playing to the level they have hoped, and they are two days removed from suiting up with just six healthy players due to the extended injury list. The outlook is not quite as bleak tonight, but there are still 10 players listed on the injury report, even with some being upgraded to questionable. Across their opening eight games, Indiana ranks 21st in opponents’ points allowed, 19th in defensive rating, 27th in opponents’ rebounds allowed, and 19th in assists conceded. Indiana also ranks 29th in rebound percentage so far this season.

Boozer has recorded at least 11 rebounds in four of his seven games played and tallied as many as 12 assists in a matchup. He has recorded over 14.5 combined rebounds and assists in four games. As he continues to settle in as a scorer, count on the rookie to continue making winning plays and impacting the game positively for this Grizzlies team. There is a clear path to him dominating on the glass against this vulnerable Pacers roster, and he continues to gain more trust as a lead playmaker for the team. Count on Boozer recording over 14.5 combined rebounds and assists for the fifth time this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 48.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-109)

Closing down tonight’s NBA slate, the Miami Heat will stay in Los Angeles to face the Clippers. It has been an underwhelming and frustrating start to the season for both teams, but there is far more reason for belief for Giannis Antetokounmpo and company to turn things around compared to their Western Conference counterpart. Los Angeles enters tonight’s game with a 1-6 record, ranking 20th in opponents’ points per game, 21st in defensive rating, 29th in opponents’ field-goal percentage, 26th in total rebounds, and 23rd in opponents’ three-point percentage.

The bar of expectation is high for Antetokounmpo, but he has shown some progress in settling in across his first seven games with the Heat. Overall, the two-time MVP is averaging 28.4 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game while shooting 58.6% from the field. The 10-time All-Star has tallied over 48.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists in four of his seven games thus far. Antetokounmpo has cleared this statistical bar in back-to-back games as well as three of his last four.

Antetokounmpo has a favorable matchup against a Clippers defense with few options to slow him down, and I expect this to be a great chance for him to continue adding to his stat total. Both Yaxel Lendeborg and Scottie Barnes recorded at least 45 combined points, rebounds, and assists during the previous two Clippers games. Expect Antetokounmpo to attack with a similar style and dominate at a much higher rate. The new Heat star is relentless in his attack and clearly motivated to get Miami on the right track. Count on a massive statistical total against this vulnerable opponent and on Antetokounmpo to record over 48.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists for the third straight game and the fourth time across his past five.
