This Saturday, October 31 (Halloween), NXT is hosting its annual Halloween Havoc premium live event! Saturday’s event marks the seventh consecutive year Halloween Havoc has been on NXT’s schedule. Grayson Waller is set for his second title defense since winning the NXT Championship in August. With Waller recently returning to NXT and capturing the title, it wouldn’t make much sense for his reign to end this soon. Over the last few weeks, Waller and D’Angelo have traded blows, making for an entertaining feud.

Since winning the title, Jordan has lived up to previous expectations as a champion and more. I expect a dominant performance from Jordan, who is the more experienced competitor.

Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey — Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match
Zilla Fatu continues his rivalry with BirthRight when he faces Charlie Dempsey in a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match at Halloween. Since joining the NXT roster, Fatu has gone 2-2 in four total matches but is 2-0 in singles competition. No matter what match this turns into, Fatu has a major advantage over Dempsey, even with BirthRight by Dempsey’s side. Fatu’s overall skill set is top-tier, and he keeps growing each time he’s in the ring.

Tavion Heights vs. Myles Borne — Weapons Wild Match

Zaria vs. Izzi Dame — Non-Title Match
Although Zaria is the current Women’s North American Champion, this contest will not be for the title. Zaria and Izzi Dame have faced each other multiple times, but this is only their second singles match, as they previously met in multi-person matches. Dame is 2-3 in her previous five matches on NXT television, and a big victory at a premium live event would do a lot for her career.

Naraku vs. Shiloh Hill — Singles Match
For the third time, Naraku and Shiloh Hill will meet in a one-on-one match. Naraku won the first matchup, and the second on October 6 ended in a no contest. Hill had a hot start, but in the last two months, he has gone 0-2 with a no contest in his previous three matches. Hill has emerged as a top player in NXT’s men’s singles division but needs to regain momentum. I believe Hill will get revenge on Naraku, leading to a fourth match between the two.

My pick for match of the night at Halloween Havoc is Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey. This is Fatu’s first singles match on an NXT premium live event, and I expect “The Main One” to step up in this contest. BirthRight has continued to go after Fatu, which should bring his game to the next level.
