WWE is back in Ontario, California, for the first time since September 2024 with an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The last edition of SmackDown in Ontario took place in June 2019. Friday’s episode of SmackDown has four matches scheduled, two of which are for a title.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
After Roxanne Perez beat Chelsea Green on the October 12 episode of Monday Night Raw, the two will now face off in a rematch for the Women’s Championship. It would be interesting to see Perez win the title and then face her friend Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel. But it isn’t likely because Green has been in an ongoing feud with The Judgment Day, and a match against Morgan still makes sense.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley (c) vs. B-Fab & Michin
Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley will defend the Women’s Tag Team Championship against B-Fab and Michin. Bliss and Paxley beat Fatal Influence on October 9 to win the titles. Since teaming up, Bliss and Paxley have created an excellent team that doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

Tag Team Match: The MFTs vs. Bakusai
The reigning Tag Team Champions, The MFTs, face Bakusai in a non-title match. Bakusai beat The MFTs by disqualification on September 18. After that, The MFTs beat the War Raiders, while Bakusai have not competed since. I expect to see a more aggressive effort from The MFTs as they look to get revenge on Bakusai.

Street Fight: Giulia vs. Blake Monroe
After Blake Monroe scored a victory against Giulia on October 2, the two will now have a rematch, but it won’t be in a regular match; it will be a street fight. This feud has been ongoing for quite some time, and Giulia desperately needs a win to even the odds against Monroe.
