DraftKings NFL Millionaire Picks: Best DFS Plays for Week 7

Quarterback

Jordan Love ($6,000)

Expect plenty of points in the Green Bay Packers-Detroit Lions matchup. Jordan Love will drive Green Bay’s scoring and looks to build on a strong start to the year. Through the opening six games, Love has thrown for 1,684 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has also added a rushing touchdown. From a fantasy football perspective, the Packers’ starter is averaging 20.7 points per game on DraftKings scoring and ranks 10th among quarterbacks. He has exceeded that average in back-to-back games and in four of his six matchups overall, though two lower-scoring performances have weighed on his numbers. This is a great matchup to build off, with the Lions ranking 30th in points allowed and dead last in total yards allowed. Dan Campbell’s squad has built an identity around its high-powered offense, and the Packers will need to put up plenty of points to win this divisional matchup. Expect Love to lead the Packers’ production and have a clear path to his best fantasy output of the season.

Other Considerations: Joe Burrow ($6,900), Brock Purdy ($6,600), Kirk Cousins ($5,800), Kyler Murray ($5,400)

Running Back

Kyren Williams ($7,000)

The Los Angeles Rams will face the Las Vegas Raiders, presenting Kyren Williams and the entire offense with a strong chance to produce plenty of points. Las Vegas has struggled defensively this year, entering Week 7 ranked 26th in points allowed and 28th in yards allowed. They have been particularly vulnerable on the ground, ranking 28th in rushing yards allowed, 29th in yards per carry, and T-27th in rushing touchdowns allowed. Williams will look to capitalize on this matchup and add to his 610 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns on the season. The former Pro Bowler is averaging 20 fantasy points per game on DraftKings scoring and ranks ninth among running backs. He has scored as many as 36.7 fantasy points in a game this year, and the vulnerable Raiders defense could give him another chance to put on a strong performance. If the Rams can play with a lead, expect Williams to get plenty of opportunities and turn them into production. Count on him to be one of the week’s top-performing running backs.

Ashton Jeanty ($6,500)

On the other side of the matchup, Ashton Jeanty will look to get on track after his difficult start to the year. Jeanty isn’t on the injury report for Week 7, and as a foundational part of the offense, he’ll get plenty of chances to produce. The Boise State product is averaging 20.7 touches per game and has generated 564 yards from scrimmage with three touchdowns. Jeanty is producing 17.2 fantasy points per game on DraftKings scoring, ranking 13th among running backs. Las Vegas has done a good job incorporating him into the passing game lately, and that will matter given the Rams’ intimidating pass rush. But even with the star-studded personnel, Los Angeles ranks 17th in points allowed, 26th in rushing yards conceded, and 21st in yards per carry. Jeanty hasn’t played his best football yet this year; expect him to take a step in that direction and outperform the $6,500 price point this week.

Other Considerations: Bijan Robinson ($8,500), Christian McCaffrey ($7,600), Braelon Allen ($5,900), J.K. Dobbins ($5,700)

Wide Receivers

Jalen Coker ($6,100)

The Carolina Panthers have embraced a pass-first attack this season and are reaping the benefits. Through their first five games, Carolina leads the NFL in passing yards and is tied for eighth in passing touchdowns. Bryce Young’s improvement is driving this, but it wouldn’t be possible without pass catchers like Jalen Coker pulling their weight. Even while missing one game due to injury, Coker has caught 24 of 35 targets for 319 yards and two touchdowns. The Holy Cross product is averaging 17.7 fantasy points per game on DraftKings scoring and ranks 14th among wide receivers. He is coming off a season-high 13 targets in Week 6, turning them into six receptions for 97 yards. Coker will look to build on that as the Panthers prepare to face the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay enters this matchup ranking 19th in passing yards allowed and T-18th in passing touchdowns conceded. Coker’s big-play threat will be a factor in this game and an important part of the NFC South outlook. Expect Young to give Coker a few chances over the top, and for Carolina to keep leaning on its high-powered scoring offense in this divisional battle.

Jameson Williams ($5,800)

Speaking of big-play potential, Jameson Williams has breakaway speed and game-changing ability on par with anyone in the league. He can take any given touch into a long score that completely shifts the outlook of a fantasy football matchup or DFS contest. Through the first five games, Williams has caught 18 passes on 29 targets for 276 yards and two touchdowns. He currently ranks 28th among wide receivers in fantasy production on DraftKings scoring, with 12.1 points per game. This has been a mild output for the Alabama product who has recorded 1,000+ yards from scrimmage in back-to-back seasons. But Detroit has a high-powered offense that ranks second in points per game, third in passing yards per game, and T-fifth in passing touchdowns. With so much attention on Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, expect Williams to benefit and be ready to make his mark in this game. Detroit will dig deeper in the playbook for this important divisional matchup, and you can count on the big-play threat to get a few chances at a long score for plenty of fantasy points.

KC Concepcion Jr. ($4,400)

The Browns are off to a 4-2 start to the season in which they have played with a level of competence the organization has been seeking for quite some time. Deshaun Watson has played his best football in years, and KC Concepcion Jr. has built good chemistry with him. In his first six NFL games, the first-round pick has caught 22 passes on 35 targets for 186 yards. He has also quietly seen six rushing attempts. Concepcion is posting a measly 6.8 fantasy points per game on DraftKings scoring, which ranks 75th among wide receivers. But he has garnered 5+ targets in five of his six games and can post his best individual week against a vulnerable Titans defense. Tennessee enters this game 1-5 and has struggled on both sides of the ball. Expect Cleveland to have plenty of opportunities, and for Concepcion to build on his encouraging start as the value play in this lineup.

Other Considerations: Drake London ($7,500), Christian Watson ($7,000), Josh Downs ($5,600), Carnell Tate ($5,100)

Tight End

Tucker Kraft ($4,700)

Tucker Kraft is in line for strong production in this expected high-scoring matchup with the Lions, and he adds value in this lineup when paired with Love. Kraft has caught 25 passes on 37 targets this year for 249 yards and a touchdown. Expect this scoring total to grow for the 25-year-old who has tallied 13 combined scores over the past two seasons. Detroit has allowed more fantasy production to tight ends than any other team so far this year. Detroit has allowed two or more touchdowns to opposing tight ends in four of its five games. They have allowed nine touchdowns to tight ends through their first five games, and 545 yards to the position. Count on the Packers to have this circled in their scouting report and give Kraft his fair share of red-zone opportunities. Expect this to drive the scoring and give Kraft a chance to be among the week’s top-performing tight ends.

Other Considerations: Brock Bowers ($7,700), Sam LaPorta ($4,800), Mark Andrews ($3,900)

Flex

Bucky Irving ($6,100)

Through the opening six games, Bucky Irving has recorded 526 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns. He was limited at practice this week, but is off the injury report heading into Sunday. This is especially relevant with Baker Mayfield sidelined, and rookie Jalon Daniels expected to make his fourth start. Irving is a foundational piece of Tampa Bay’s offense and has recorded at least 15 touches in every game, averaging 18.8 per contest. The Buccaneers are playing in desperation mode with a 1-5 record, but this is a vital chance to pick up a divisional win and keep their hopes alive. Irving is one of their most reliable offensive options, and the team will be eager to put the ball in his hands at a high rate with the stakes in mind. As talented as Carolina is offensively, they rank 21st in points allowed, 25th in total yards allowed, 27th in rushing yards allowed, and T-29th in rushing touchdowns allowed. Irving is currently producing 14.9 fantasy points per game on DraftKings scoring, ranking 17th among running backs. Don’t be shocked if this is his most lucrative output yet; back him to exceed $6,100.

Injury note: Irving was limited in practice during the week, so check his final status before locking in this lineup.

Defense & Special Teams

Houston Texans ($3,400)

The Houston Texans had a nightmare 0-4 start to the season, but they have scrapped back to two consecutive wins to keep their season hopes alive. This organization has leaned on its defense for success over the past few seasons, but it struggled a bit out of the gate this year. Through the opening six games, Houston ranks 20th in points allowed and 15th in total yards conceded. They will look to keep the momentum going against a New York Giants team that ranks 19th in scoring and is on its third-string quarterback. As impressive as J.J. McCarthy looked in his brief stint last week, he largely faced the Saints’ prevent-shell coverage in a game that seemed out of reach. Expect a different outlook against a stronger Texans defense that had a week to game plan. The Texans are playing with a different energy lately, and their defense should set the tone on Sunday.

Other Considerations: Vikings ($3,500), Panthers ($3,000), Colts ($2,400)
