The 76ers are visiting the Knicks on Tuesday night to begin the 2026-27 NBA season. On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York is favored by 4.5 points, and this game carries a total of 232.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Tyrese Maxey player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for this matchup.

Tyrese Maxey O 21.5 Points (-108)

Maxey’s scoring role will change with LeBron James and Jaylen Brown in Philadelphia, but 21.5 points leaves room for a meaningful decline from last season’s production. He averaged 28.3 PPG on 21.4 field-goal attempts while shooting 46.2% from the field and 36.7% from three. He also averaged 6.0 free-throw attempts and converted 89.2%, giving him a way to continue pouring it on when his jumper isn’t falling.

We don’t need Maxey to reproduce his entire workload from last season to get to 22 points, although the new lineup makes his shot volume the central question. Make no mistake, this is still Tyrese Maxey’s team

There’s also a case that sharing the offense will make some of those opportunities easier. Maxey shot 41.7% on catch-and-shoot threes last season, and LeBron’s passing should help him get more chances to attack before the defense is set. New York did hold him below this line in three of four playoff meetings last spring, so I’m backing the price and his new offensive situation rather than claiming the Knicks are an easy matchup – we know they’re not. With Brown and LeBron creating alongside him, Maxey has a path to clearing this number through spot-up shooting, drives, and free throws. He’s an elite off-ball threat, and I don’t expect his scoring to dip as low as 21.5.
