Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers will face off with the Washington Commanders tonight to close down the Week 6 NFL slate in a Monday Night Football matchup.
San Francisco is off to an undefeated 5-0 start to the season and has looked like one of the best teams in football. Purdy has been a driving force of this early momentum, taking his game to new heights in his fifth season in the NFL.
The 49ers enter as 7.5-point home favorites with -395 Moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Commanders hold +310 odds of getting the outright win, with the game total set at O/U 51.5 points.

There are plenty of ways to get involved. Check out the game preview and more on DraftKings Network. For now, here’s my top Brock Purdy prop bet for Monday Night Football.
Brock Purdy Best Passing Touchdowns Pick vs. Commanders
Brock Purdy Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+130)
It has been a stellar start to the season for Brock Purdy. The former Mr. Irrelevant has completed 69.0% of his pass attempts for 1,196 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has been powering this San Francisco offense, averaging 30.8 points per game while currently leading the NFL in QBR, touchdown rate, passing success rate, and lowest sack percentage.
Purdy has thrown at least two touchdown passes in all five games this season, including three against the Los Angeles Rams and four against the Arizona Cardinals. He will now turn his attention to a Washington Commanders defense that has struggled through the opening weeks of the season. Through their first five games, the Commanders rank 32nd in the NFL in scoring, 23rd in total yards allowed, 29th in passing yards conceded, and 31st in opponents’ passing touchdowns.
Most recently, Washington was shredded for three second-half touchdowns by Jameis Winston and the New York Giants. The Commanders have also allowed four passing touchdowns apiece to Sam Darnold and Dak Prescott, while Jalen Hurts tallied three passing scores against them as well. Washington has not held an opponent below 24 points all season, or below 27 points in any of their previous four games.
That defensive vulnerability presents an opportunity for San Francisco’s high-powered offense, which ranks third in the league in scoring despite Christian McCaffrey failing to live up to his sky-high standard. While plenty of running backs would happily trade their output for his level of production right now, McCaffrey’s 423 yards from scrimmage and five total scores are mild outputs for the former Offensive Player of the Year.
Expect the matchup between the 49ers’ offense and the Commanders’ defense to lead to plenty of points for the 49ers. He is playing his best football, and his NFL-leading touchdown percentage is especially of note. Count on Purdy to record over 2.5 passing touchdowns for the third time this season in this favorable matchup tonight.
