Colter Shaw is back on the case tonight as Tracker returns to CBS for Season 4 Episode 3. In “Original Parts,” Colter travels to a deserted Texas town to find a woman who vanished after an argument with her husband.
Season 4 began two weeks ago and is off to a fast start, with CBS noting that it was the No. 3 show on television during premiere week (October 4-10) with about 7 million viewers. The network also highlighted that the season premiere was “CBS’ most-watched series starting after 9:45 p.m. (and not directly following football) since the Blue Bloods two-part season 11 finale” in 2021.
Tracker will continue the show’s “case-of-the-week format in Season 4, with Colter traveling to help people in difficult situations, while the larger Shaw-family conspiracy becomes an important ongoing thread.” A notable change for the new season of Tracker is that Cassady McClincy Zhang has been upgraded from recurring player to series regular as Reenie’s legal assistant, Melanie “Mel” Day.
