Who will be voted off on Survivor 51 next? Episode 5 Predictions

Devin’s smirk said it all — the actor finally got what he has been wanting and voted his nemesis Jenna right out of the game.

Now that he’s gotten what he calls “toxicity” out of his tribe, are things looking up for the Helicopter alliance? And who did the tribe swap and creation of Dina hurt the most? Check out who could be going home in Survivor 51 Episode 5.

Who will be voted off on Survivor 51 next?

Mike Pinsky — Toka

This tribe is made up mostly of original Toka members, with Kristin as the lone newcomer. That would normally seem like a recipe for disaster for the crisis-management expert, but Kristin immediately put those skills to work. She quickly positioned herself as an indispensable asset with tremendous and varied knowledge. Kristin also made sure to find a way for people to associate her with good feelings, which seemed to work on Brady right away.

This could be bad news for Mike, who perhaps in his bid to expand his social circle following the blindside of Patt swung for the fences and whiffed. The Yankees executive wanted to make it clear he was open for business, but his eagerness to make allies struck Maggie and Thien An in a negative way and made them immediately suspicious and skeptical. Thien An even notes that rather than playing Survivor, Mike is playing survival.

Carter could be key for Mike’s chances for survival, as Carter is looking to align with her. She seems open to the possibility and where this could help Mike is that Carter seems to want to potentially target Kristin. Carter is skeptical of Kristin and doesn’t trust her from their previous time as tribemates, so if he can get Thien An, and by extension Maggie, on board with voting out Kristin over Mike, that could be his saving grace.

Alexis Levine — Savu

My colleague Bryan Armetta talked about it in his Episode 4 recap, but the Savu tribe is dominated by the Helicopter alliance, and that’s bad news for Alexis.

Alexis already thinks she and Ori are in trouble as the outsiders in this tribe, but little does she know that Ori is already aligned with Jelly and Devin. Not to mention that there may be a budding showmance between Ori and Jelly.

Devin already expressed an openness to sending Alexis home, and we saw that Jenna sowed some seeds of doubt on Alexis this week in a bid to save her game. It didn’t work out for Jenna, but it could come back to haunt Alexis moving forward.

Lewis Kelly — Dina

I hate to keep recycling Lewis, but the guy really can’t catch a break. He’s gone from Exile Island to Toka and now Dina. He’s been on the bottom of every tribe he’s been on and now with Kilby and Eric forming a fast bromance, it feels like Lewis is once again the odd man out.

His best chance to survive is that Eric continues to have no chill and makes his alliance with Kilby so blatantly obvious that the other members of the tribe have no choice but to nip it in the bud. Let’s not forget how quickly Eric can get on people’s nerves. For the first time in the game, it felt like Eric wasn’t fighting for his life this week, but I have a feeling his moment of prosperity won’t last.

Whether or not that moment runs out in time to save Lewis is another matter entirely. It just feels like Lewis has been playing from behind the 8-ball from the start, and at some point it’s going to catch up to him.

Survivor 51 Episode 5 Preview

Next week, two tribes are going to Tribal Council, a blood ring is introduced into the game and Maggie is ready to cause some chaos. Plus, could Jelly be considering cutting Devin because he’s not good for her game?

What are the current tribes in Survivor 51?

This week’s episodes saw the two tribes split into a total of three tribes, with Dina being formed to join Toka and Savu. Production had originally planned for three tribes of 6 (18 players total), but with Rob’s exit in Episode 3, that left one tribe (Savu) shorthanded. The current members of those tribes are:

  • Dina: Cristian, Eric, Kilby, Linnea, Lewis and Sharonda
  • Toka: Brady, Carter, Kristin, Maggie, Mike and Thien An
  • Savu: Alexis, Devin, Jelly and Ori
