Last night, the Milwaukee Brewers began their quest to exact revenge on the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers swept the Brewers in the 2025 NLCS, but Milwaukee leads the series 1-0 after Trevor Megill got Mookie Betts to fly out with men on first and second.
Tonight’s 5 p.m. ET game isn’t quite a must-win for Los Angeles, but a win would certainly help its quest for a third straight pennant. Meanwhile, the Brewers should feel good about their chances of claiming their first pennant since 1982 if they take both games at home.
The Dodgers are -136 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook with with 2025 World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto slated to toe the rubber, but Logan Henderson and Milwaukee (+113) have a solid shot of pulling off the upset.
Below, I’ll break down my favorite prop bets from tonight’s showdown, focusing on one player from each team.
Dodgers at Brewers Best Prop Bets Tonight for Monday 10/12/26
Freddie Freeman 1+ Extra Base Hits (+208)
Freeman, the 2024 World Series MVP and hero in Game 3 of the 2025 Fall Classic, has been arguably Los Angeles’ most consistent hitter so far these playoffs. He homered in both Games 2 and 3 of the NLDS, giving Yamamoto all the run support he needed in that crucial victory, and he has at least one extra base hit in 28 of his 84 career postseason games (+200 implied odds). Freeman didn’t have the greatest ending to his regular season, recording just one extra base hit in September, but he looks healthy again after recovering during Los Angeles’ bye week.
Logan Henderson represents a tricky matchup, as he has a 2.33 career ERA in 23 starts and has limited the Dodgers to 12.0 innings of one-run ball in his two starts against them this season. However, left-handed batters were slightly more capable of getting to him than righties, as he allowed nine extra base hits in 168 plate appearances (4.8%) to righties and 24 in 302 (7.9%) against southpaws. He also ranked in just the fourth percentile in ground ball rate and the 34th in barrel rate. Freeman had a solid .479 xSLG against right-handed four-seamers, Henderson’s most frequent pitch.
Logan Henderson 6+ Strikeouts (+103)
I don’t really like any of the Brewers’ hitting props against Yamamoto, even though they’ve had the most effective offense of any team during these playoffs. Instead, I’ll go with Henderson, one of baseball’s rising pitching pitching stars. He has tremendous strikeout stuff, ranking in the 90th percentile in strikeout percentage, and he recorded at least six in 12 of his 18 starts. The 24-year-old failed to reach that number in his postseason debut, walking three and striking out four against the San Diego Padres, but there’s no guarantee that he exits after just 72 pitches again, especially with DL Hall, Abner Uribe, Aaron Ashby, and Trevor Megill all pitching last night.
During the regular season, Los Angeles didn’t strike out much, getting fanned the fourth-fewest times, but in the playoffs, the Dodgers have struck out the fourth-most times per game among the eight teams to advance to at least the Division Series. Misiorowski, despite not having his best stuff, still managed five strikeouts in 4.1 innings, so Henderson should be able to top that if he can stay in the game longer than Misiorowski did. Given that he throws pitches in the zone more frequently (53.6% to Misiorowski’s 50.3%) and Los Angeles makes contact at pitches in the zone at merely the 12th-highest rate, Henderson could be efficient enough to at least complete the fifth inning. He did so in both games against the Dodgers in the regular season, striking out at least six both times.
