We’ve got a big-boy battle on tap for Saturday night, as heavyweight prospects Allen Frye and RJ Harris collide at UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Duncan inside the Meta APEX.
Frye (6–1, 0–1 UFC) fell short in his promotional debut, dropping a unanimous decision to Guilherme Pat in December 2025. Harris (6–0, 1–0 UFC) made a strong first impression, stopping Alvin Hines in the first round in July.
Harris enters as a heavy -340 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Frye is a +270 underdog, with the fight total set at O/U 1.5 rounds.
Allen Frye vs. RJ Harris Fight Preview
Allen Frye
- 6–1 (0–1 UFC)
- 6–0 (T)KO
- 0–0 SUB
Allen Frye is looking to bounce back after suffering his first professional loss in his UFC debut. The 28-year-old prospect stumbled in a lopsided decision loss to fellow promotional newcomer Guilherme Pat, who has since lost both his fights this year.
“AJ” arrived in the UFC at 6–0 with six knockouts, though his striking didn’t seem nearly as formidable at MMA’s highest level. Although he showed solid clinch work against Pat, he’ll now face an opponent with opportunistic grappling and a dangerous submission game.
RJ Harris
- 6–0 (1–0 UFC)
- 2–0 (T)KO
- 3–0 SUB
RJ Harris announced his UFC arrival like the Kool-Aid Man bursting through a wall. Earlier this year, “The Hammer” landed an uppercut that sent Alvin Hines airborne before securing a finish inside two minutes.
Harris, 28, may not be the most technically polished prospect, but his power is undeniable. He also has a sound wrestling skill set and can lock up submissions when opportunities arise. That said, Harris likely enters Saturday night hunting one clean shot that ends the fight.
Allen Frye vs. RJ Harris Pick, Best Bet
RJ Harris enters Saturday night with far more pathways to victory than Allen Frye. The former brings proven power, an opportunistic grappling base, and, most notably, a UFC win. Whether on the feet or on the mat, Harris is the more dangerous fighter and should take care of business inside the distance.
