The Traitors is back with a new season, dubbed The Traitors: New Blood. This is the first-ever all-civilian season of the U.S. iteration of the show. After a week off, the show is back for Episode 5, which should be full of action and excitement.
Here is a full recap of the episode.
Who Was Murdered on The Traitors Tonight?
It was not revealed who was murdered in Episode 5. Clyde, Niyyah, Joe and Mark are the four players still in coffins at the end of the episode. That means either Clyde, Niyyah or Mark will be the victim at the beginning of Episode 6, assuming the traitors pulled off their mission.
Who Was Banished on The Traitors Tonight?
Sherry was banished at the roundtable that opened Episode 5 after getting heat from Jay and Abby L. Sherry was, of course, a faithful.
What Happened on The Traitors: New Blood Episode 5?
The previous episode left off in the middle of a roundtable. Katie was accused of being a traitor by Jay. Unfortunately for him, most of the group does not take Jay seriously because of his recurring outbursts. Jay is correct about Katie being a traitor, even if his reasoning is faulty. However, the group quickly turns on him, stating that he is either a traitor or a very bad faithful. Abby L. brings up the fact that Sherry mentioned that there were three traitors. She claimed that means Sherry is a traitor, because how else would she know that information? Katie ends up being forgotten, and the battle turns into one between Sherry and Jay. Sherry ends up being banished after receiving the most votes.
After the roundtable, the players headed off to a wake. One of the nine vulnerable players from the previous episode’s challenge will be murdered, and everyone will attend their funeral. The major twist is that the murder will have to be in plain sight. One of the traitors will need to throw an apple to a faithful and have them catch it. If they pull it off, that faithful will be murdered. Joe was massively struggling to get someone to catch the apple, and Victor started to become quite suspicious of both Joe and Tomica.
At the wake, all nine shortlisted players had to get into the coffins and be buried alive. Then, Alan revealed that the murder took place in plain sight. One by one, he revealed which players were safe from murder. The episode ended with Clyde, Niyyah, Joe and Mark still in their coffins. So, either Clyde, Niyyah or Mark will be murdered at the start of the next episode, assuming the traitors pulled off their mission.
