Sunday’s loaded NFL Week 4 slate features a cross-conference showdown between the Miami Dolphins and the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium, with kickoff set for 4:05 p.m. ET.

The Dolphins (0–3, 4th AFC East) are still searching for their first win of the season, moving forward without star running back De’Von Achane (ACL). The Vikings (3–0, 1st NFC North) will attempt to stay perfect without star receiver Justin Jefferson (ankle).

The Vikings enter as 10-point home favorites with -520 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Dolphins are +390 underdogs, with the game total set at O/U 38.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s clash between the Dolphins and the Vikings.

Dolphins vs. Vikings NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 4

Ollie Gordon II Under 24.5 Rush Yards (-109)

Following De’Von Achane’s season-ending injury, Ollie Gordon II emerged as one of the most coveted waiver-wire fantasy football pickups for Week 4. The second-year running back, 22, handled 17 carries for 41 yards (2.4 YPC) after Achane went down last week, and many expected him to command Miami’s backfield moving forward.

However, Gordon’s opportunities will likely remain limited against the Vikings — still listed as Miami’s RB2 behind a returning Jaylen Wright. The 23-year-old back, who missed Week 3 with a foot injury, was brilliant after Achane went down against the Jets last year — taking 24 carries for 107 yards (4.5 YPC) and a touchdown. Wright will likely have a similar runway on Sunday afternoon.

Making matters worse for Gordon, the Dolphins face a nightmare matchup with one of the finest run defenses in football. Minnesota ranks fourth in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game (85.7) and opponent yards per carry (3.5).

Aaron Jones Sr. 4+ Receptions (+126)

After Justin Jefferson’s early exit last week, the Vikings got Aaron Jones Sr. involved in the passing game. The veteran running back, 31, garnered six targets and tied Jordan Addison with a team-high five catches for 34 yards. With Jefferson shelved for Week 4, Jones should remain an essential pass-catcher for Kyler Murray.

Especially in this matchup.

Miami is saddled with a disastrous pass defense, ranking 31st in opponent yards per attempt (9.1) and dead last in quarterback completion rate (80.3 percent). Worse, the Dolphins haven’t stopped a single pass to opposing running backs through three weeks; the position has caught 15 of 15 targets for 122 yards — tied for sixth-most in the NFL — and a league-high four receiving touchdowns.

Both Las Vegas’ Ashton Jeanty and San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey recorded 4+ receptions against the Dolphins. While Jones may not be on that same tier, he should find similar success through the air in an expanded role without Jefferson.
