Finding the right fantasy football WR sleepers can make a difference in Week 4, especially for managers dealing with injuries, difficult matchups or tough start-sit decisions. Aside from the obvious weekly starters, several wide receivers could be positioned for increased opportunities this week.
Each week, we highlight five wide receivers who have a path to outperform expectations because of their role, matchup, recent usage or opportunities in their offense. These picks can help season-long fantasy football managers looking for a sleeper or FLEX option, while DraftKings salaries are included for players who are also in good spots to provide DFS value.
Best Fantasy Football WR Sleepers for Week 4
Here are five fantasy football WR sleepers to consider for Week 4. Analysis for each wide receiver is below.
- Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles ($4,300)
- Mack Hollins, New England Patriots ($4,000)
- Ryan Flournoy, Dallas Cowboys ($3,800)
- Chris Bell, Miami Dolphins ($3,700)
- Kalif Raymond, Chicago Bears ($3,600)
Dontayvion Wicks, Philadelphia Eagles ($4,300)
Why he’s a Week 4 fantasy football sleeper: With DeVonta Smith (hamstring) out for potentially multiple weeks and Dallas Goedert (knee) missing a second straight game, Wicks will need to step up as the Eagles’ top pass catcher vs. the Rams. Wicks showed a high ceiling in a larger role when he was in Green Bay and had 15.3 and 12.4 FPTS in his first two games with the Eagles before a disappointing showing in Chicago on Monday. He’s lined up for plenty of targets in what could be a high-scoring NFC showdown between the Rams and Eagles in Philly.
Mack Hollins, New England Patriots ($4,000)
Why he’s a Week 4 fantasy football sleeper: Hollins has been the Patriots’ top receiver while A.J. Brown (ankle) has been on IR, and he had 14.7 FPTS on six catches for 87 yards last week against the Jaguars. In a revenge game against the Bills, he will hope to help Drake Maye ($6,000) get back on track against the Bills’ secondary, which has allowed the sixth-most FPTS to WRs this season.
Ryan Flournoy, Dallas Cowboys ($3,800)
Why he’s a Week 4 fantasy football sleeper: Flournoy is in a great matchup against the Texans, who have allowed the third-most FPTS to WRs. While most of Houston’s focus will be on CeeDee Lamb ($7,800) and George Pickens ($6,300), Flournoy has a chance to flourish as the team’s third receiver. He has averaged 6.0 targets per game this season and has totaled nine catches for 67 yards. He has shown he can be a PPR beast in the right matchups and getting him under $4K makes him a great value play this week.
Chris Bell, Miami Dolphins ($3,700)
Why he’s a Week 4 fantasy football sleeper: With Caleb Douglas (ankle) missing a second straight game, Bell is set to be the Dolphins’ second receiver behind Malik Washington ($4,400). Bell had four catches on seven targets for 67 yards and 10.7 FPTS against the Chiefs without Douglas last week and he is in a much more favorable matchup against the Vikings this week. Without De’Von Achane (knee), the Dolphins may need to pass more, creating more chances for Bell to make an impact through the air.
Kalif Raymond, Chicago Bears ($3,600)
Why he’s a Week 4 fantasy football sleeper: After Case Keenum ($4,600) had a heroic performance last week, the Bears will turn to Tyson Bagent ($4,800) against the Jets in Week 4 with Caleb Williams (hamstring) still out. Regardless of who is at QB, Raymond has been involved enough to be one of our fantasy football WR sleepers in Week 4. He has at least 9.0 FPTS in each of his three games this season with an impressive 21 FPTS on a season-high 90 yards last week against the Eagles.
