Seahawks vs. Commanders NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 3

Two squads going in opposite directions will meet in D.C. this afternoon. The Seahawks (2-0) are rolling, winning two straight with backup Drew Lock under center. Starting quarterback Sam Darnold (glute) is expected to make his return for the defending champs on Sunday. As for the Commanders (0-2), things are looking bleak. Star QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) is out, leaving control of the offense to backup Marcus Mariota. To make matters worse, this Washington defense was carved up last weekend in Dallas.

Seattle is a 7.5-point favorite with -410 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. Washington is a +320 underdog, with the game total set at O/U 40.5 points.

Let’s dive into the top player prop bets for Sunday’s showdown between the Seahawks and Commanders.

Seahawks vs. Commanders NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 3

Jadarian Price 14+ rush attempts (-104)

A nor’easter is wreaking havoc across the Atlantic seaboard this weekend. Northwest Stadium is one of the venues that’s poised to endure a downpour on Sunday. In what should be a game in less than ideal conditions, both coaches may prioritize running the ball. That’s especially true for Seattle; Mike Macdonald’s crew is tied for seventh in the league with 62 rush attempts this season. The current leader in this Seahawks backfield is Jadarian Price, but the situation is fluid. For starters, the first round pick is battling a chest injury. Although he’s been cleared to play, Price may not be at 100%. He only logged 34% of Seattle’s snaps last week against the Cardinals.

As an added wildcard, backups Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani have both seen their fair share of touches. The former just gained 92 yards against Arizona as well. Still, who’s to say all three can’t make an impact in this one? The Commanders aren’t the most intimidating defense, especially on the ground. They’re giving up 4.4 yards per rush attempt, tied for tenth-most in the NFL this season. That number was even worse in 2025 (4.8 YPC). To boot, Darnold is just working his way back from injury; a heavy dose of passes in the rain doesn’t seem like the move. Price has looked fine, racking up exactly 52 yards in each of his first two games. Another solid workload should be in store for the youngster against Washington.

Rachaad White 3+ receptions (-112)

Jacory Croskey-Merritt sits atop Washington’s depth chart at running back. However, he serves as more of a traditional between the tackles option. Whenever the Commanders are looking for a play in the passing game, Rachaad White takes the field. That was the case last week in Dallas. Trailing at halftime, the former Buccaneers speedster logged 52% of the team’s snaps on offense. In the process, he hauled in an impressive six receptions against the Cowboys. Granted, there may not be a ton of plays through the air in this one. Still, Mariota is more than capable of keeping this offense respectable on Sunday. When an opportunity presents itself, the former Heisman winner isn’t afraid to throw it.

Still, completing passes downfield is easier said than done. That’s especially true against a formidable Seattle secondary. There’s a very real chance top wideouts Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs are blanketed throughout Week 3. Should that occur, a timely dump-off or two could be headed White’s way. In many ways, this is the perfect spot for the 27-year-old. The Seahawks allowed an NFL-worst 97 receptions to opposing running backs last season. If the Commanders are going to pull off a massive upset, they’ll likely need to get a bit creative. Drawing up a screen or two could get this offense going. At just three receptions, this is a reasonable line for White.
