The Denver Broncos defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars last week and will look to knock off the Los Angeles Rams to make it two straight wins at home. One key to their win last week was offseason acquisition Jaylen Waddle stepping up with a huge game. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Denver is a 1.5-point home underdog in this matchup, with the point total set at 44.5 points.
Below, I break down my favorite Jaylen Waddle prop bet for Sunday night’s matchup, focusing on his receiving yards line against Los Angeles.

The Broncos acquired Waddle from the Dolphins in exchange for a 2026 first, third, and fourth round draft picks. The steep price shows how valuable the Broncos think Waddle can be in their offense, but his Broncos career started with a thud.
In Week 1, he only had one catch on two targets for two yards against the Chiefs. Waddle was working with new QB Bo Nix and new offensive coordinator Davis Webb, and the offense was a huge letdown across the board.
In a better matchup against the Jaguars in Week 2, Waddle got on track with eight catches on 10 targets for 138 yards. He was targeted on an impressive 42% of his routes and was clearly the go-to option for Nix.
Waddle has big-play potential down the field, but he can also turn short catches into big gains to get over this prop total. He averaged 56.9 yards per game last year with the Dolphins, but with Nix and a more aggressive offense, he has a good chance to put up better numbers across the board.
The Rams have not allowed any receiver to get over 50 yards against them this season, but they have given up 48+ yards to four receivers in two games. With the Broncos focusing on getting Waddle the ball early and often, he has a good chance to get to 70+ receiving yards.
He’ll be matched up against Jaylen Watson for most of the game, and Watson has struggled in coverage this season, falling well below the league average based on his PFF grades. It should be a good matchup for Waddle to attack on Sunday Night Football, especially if the Broncos have to play from behind as the spread indicates.
