Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos will close down the Week 3 NFL Sunday slate in a primetime matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Both of these teams have Super Bowl aspirations and are frequent figures in these standalone games. Each team is also off to a 1-1 start to the season and is still looking to fully find their top gear.
Looking at the odds for the Week 3 Sunday Night Football matchup, the Rams enter as narrow 1.5-point road favorites with -130 Moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Broncos are +110 to pull off the upset, with the game total set at O/U 44.5 points.

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the action across DraftKings Sportsbook. You can check out game previews and plenty more on DraftKings Network. But for now, let’s look at my top Bo Nix prop bet for the Week 3 Sunday Night Football matchup.
Bo Nix Rushing Yards Pick vs. Rams
Bo Nix Under 15.5 Rushing Yards (-109)
While he does not quite fall into the dual-threat quarterback conversation, Bo Nix’s ability with his legs has been a vital part of his production in his opening two years in the league. As a rookie, Nix tallied 430 rushing yards and four touchdowns, which shakes out to 25.3 rushing yards per game on 5.4 average rush attempts. Last year, the Oregon product tallied 356 yards on the ground and five touchdowns, or 20.9 rushing yards per game. However, through the opening two weeks of this season, Nix has just eight total rushing yards on eight rushing attempts. Nix was averaging 2.3 scramble attempts in 2025, but has just one total scramble so far this year. With the designed runs and read options included, the Broncos’ quarterback has notched two rushing yards in Week 1 and six rushing yards in the previous matchup.
Some of this conversation should be centered around health. Nix saw his season end last year due to a broken bone in his ankle that he suffered in the AFC Divisional round victory over the Buffalo Bills. Had it not been for the injury, there is a world where it would have been the Broncos competing in the Super Bowl last year. But Nix was forced to miss the remainder of the playoffs and spent the bulk of his offseason prioritizing his recovery. He made his return ahead of the opening week, but has not relied on his legs at the same rate.
In fairness to Nix, his lack of rushing production may not be correlated to the previous ankle injury to any extent. He has passed the eye test for how he has been moving around in the pocket, even if he has not broken free for any notable rushing gain. But there were changes around this Broncos’ offense this season, with Davis Webb taking control of the offensive coordinator and play call duties. Nix has not been given as many read option opportunities, and there has been a bigger point of emphasis on short passes around the line of scrimmage.
There is a world where the Broncos expand Nix’s rushing opportunities as the season progresses, but don’t expect this to be a matchup in which this outlook changes. The Rams have a feared defensive front, even as they battle through some injury issues in the early parts of the season. This will be especially noteworthy with the Broncos’ running back position banged up, with Jonah Coleman recently placed on IR. Expect Nix to be overplayed in read option situations, and for these opportunities to be limited throughout.
The Denver Broncos cannot reach their peak as a team this week or moving forward without Nix playing a major role. But expect the 26-year-old to make his mark felt with his arm, and for the opportunities on the ground to be few and far between. Given what we have seen from the Broncos’ offense this year and this matchup with this intimidating Los Angeles front, expect the 15.5 rushing yard line to be too lofty.
