UFC Fight Night: Rosas Jr. vs. Barcelos fight card, odds, betting splits

After six consecutive weeks on the road, the UFC will host a Fight Night on Saturday, September 26, from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the first UFC event at the Meta Apex since August 8. Two rising Bantamweight contenders, No. 12 Raul Rosas Jr. and No. 13 Raoni Barcelos, are facing off in the Main Event of this card. 

Rosas Jr. and Barcelos have both won five straight fights. Rosas beat Rob Font at UFC 326 in his last appearance, while Barcelos’ last victory came against Montel Jackson in April. Barcelos is 18 years older than Rosas, at 39, while Rosas is 21. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Rosas is the favorite at -155 with Barcelos as a +1309 underdog for this bout. In this fight, Barcelos is getting 61 percent of the handle with 39 percent going to Rosas. Rosas is getting 52 percent of bets while 48 percent are on Barcelos. 

In the co-main event of this card, No. 4 Norma Dumont faces No. 5 Ailin Perez in a three-round Women’s Bantamweight contest. Both fighters have 13 wins, with Dumont having three defeats and Perez two losses. Perez is riding a six-fight winning streak while Dumont is coming off a loss to Joselyne Edwards. Perez is receiving 58 percent of bets and 51 percent of the handle, while 49 percent of the handle and 42 percent of bets are on Dumont. In this contest, Perez is the favorite at -155 with Dumont as a +130 underdog.

Sedriques Dumas was originally slated to face Mickey Gall on this card, but Gall had to withdraw from the contest. After that occurred, new UFC signee Luis Hernandez stepped up on short notice. This is Hernandez’s UFC debut after he earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series less than two weeks ago. Hernandez is an impressive prospect as he is 8-0 with eight finishes. Dumas’ UFC career hasn’t started as planned, as he is 1-4-1 in his last six contests. Even though Hernandez took this fight on a few days’ notice, he is a -238 favorite and gets 76 percent of the handle and 65 percent of bets. Dumas, the +195, gets 35 percent of bets and 24 percent of the handle. 

The Ultimate Fighter 34 Finals are also on this card: Mehemmedeli Osmanli vs. Ilimbek Akylbek and Melissa Amaya vs. Tina Black. Osmanli scored two submissions on The Ultimate Fighter against Artem Belakh and Christian Strong. On the show, Akylbek beat Sean Mora and Xavier Franklin to make it to the final. Osmanli is the favorite at -298, while Akylbek is +240 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Osmanli is getting an absurd 94 percent of the handle and 92 percent of bets, while Akylbek has only eight percent of bets and six percent of the handle. 

Black’s two TUF victories came against Natalia Alves and Delphine Benouaich. Amaya went 2-0 on TUF with two finishes against Anna Melisano and Giovanna Canuto. Black is a -218 favorite in this bout, with Amaya being a +180 underdog. Even as the underdog, Amaya is getting 94 percent of the handle, with six percent going to Black. Meanwhile, Black gets 70 percent of bets, while 30 percent are on Amaya.
