- Kansas City Royals vs. Cleveland Guardians: Guardians RHP Gavin Williams 7+ strikeouts: Williams has hit 7+ K in 4 straight, as well as 4 of his last 5 road starts and 11 of his last 13 outings overall, on top of reaching that mark in both of his previous appearances vs. KC in 2026.
MLB Strikeout Prop Bets Breakdown
Trevor Rogers 6+ K (-177), New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles
Since coming back from the All-Star break, Rogers has cleared six-plus strikeouts in 10 of his 12 starts, averaging 10.0 strikeouts per nine innings along the way. He is 8-5 with a 2.92 ERA and 1.026 WHIP from June 1 on, too. The last time Rogers faced the Yankees was on May 12, when he recorded just three strikeouts. However, he was in the midst of a brutal seven-start stretch – over which he went 0-6 with a 10.01 ERA – and he is clearly in a much stronger position now. Plus, three of the last four starters who have faced New York have gone for at least six punchouts.
Jackson Jobe 6+ K (+122), Detroit Tigers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
The Tigers took it easy with Jobe when he returned from Tommy John surgery in August, only letting him face 16 batters in his regular season debut. The righty is now getting into the groove of things, though, posting back-to-back quality starts. He has also recorded seven, eight and nine strikeouts in his last three starts. Jobe only struck out three when he pitched against the Pirates in Pittsburgh last month, but now he gets to face them in Detroit without a concrete pitch count. The Pirates notably average the most strikeouts per road game in all of MLB. Jobe has completed at least 5.0 innings in four straight outings, all while Pittsburgh has struck out five-plus times through 5.0 frames in four of their last five contests.
Gavin Williams 7+ K (-139), Kansas City Royals vs. Cleveland Guardians
Williams has reached at least seven strikeouts in all four of his starts this month, as well as four of his last five on the road and 11 of his last 13 overall. While the Royals average the fifth-fewest strikeouts per game in MLB, Williams has gotten to face their lineup twice already this season. He struck out eight when they visited Cleveland on April 7, then punched out seven when he took the mound in Kansas City on May 5. White Sox rookie David Sandlin just struck out seven Royals on Thursday, and he was only averaging 8.7 strikeouts per nine innings prior to that performance. Williams, on the other hand, is averaging 12.1 and has a five-strikeout lead for the American League crown.
