MLB Best Bets: Top Player Prop Bets for Sunday, 9/20/26

All 30 MLB clubs are in action on Sunday, bringing plenty of star power and value across the board.

Let’s dive into three of the strongest player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best MLB Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Cristopher Sanchez Under 17.5 Outs (+134)

Phillies ace Cristopher Sanchez is mired in a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad month. In three September starts, the star southpaw has allowed 14 earned runs with just 13 strikeouts — a 6.87 ERA over that stretch. While Sanchez has delivered at least six innings in each of those outings, he may struggle to follow suit against a warming Mets lineup.

New York has taken the last two games against Philadelphia, piling up 16 runs over that stretch. The Amazins head into Sunday’s series finale at Citi Field ranked eighth in MLB in both wRC+ and wOBA since the All-Star break.

Miguel Vargas 2+ Total Bases (+123)

Miguel Vargas continued his breakout season on Saturday, going deep for the second night in a row. The White Sox third baseman marches into Sunday’s series finale against the Tigers with 33 home runs and an .841 OPS in 2026.

Vargas has a strong chance to stay hot against Detroit’s Troy Melton. While the young right-hander has posted an elite 2.52 ERA across 19 starts in 2026, he’s responsible for a swollen 7.24 ERA across three September outings. Vargas has notched two doubles in 11 career at-bats against Melton.

Juan Soto 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (+101)

Juan Soto’s line for combined hits, runs, and RBIs is far too low for Sunday’s series finale against the Phillies. The superstar outfielder went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and a run scored on Friday, and he plated one more with a single on Saturday.

Soto now faces the formidable but struggling Cristopher Sanchez, against whom he is 6-for-17 (.353) with an .801 OPS, a double, and a walk in his career. At plus odds, there’s serious value in backing the famously clutch on-base machine to record multiple hits, runs and RBIs for the third straight game.
