The most important match with the biggest stakes attached to it is Saquon Shugars vs. Tony D’Angelo vs. Mason Rook to crown the NXT Championship No. 1 Contender. Also on this show, Myles Borne is scheduled to make a public apology to Tavion Heights.

After Tony D’Angelo lost his title in a Fatal Four-Way match at Heatwave, it makes sense for him to earn a rematch and have a one-on-one contest with Grayson Waller. Shugars and Rook have shown potential but still do not seem main event-ready.

Singles Match: Lizzy Rain vs. Kali Armstrong
Since joining the NXT roster, Lizzy Rain has gone 2-1 in singles competition. She beat Izzi Dame in her previous one-on-one match. Now Rain will face another rising star, Kali Armstrong. Armstrong is 3-0 in singles matches, and she should be able to get past Rain with her tremendous athletic ability.

Tag Team Match: Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux vs. DarkState
Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux have combined to create a solid pairing in NXT’s tag team division. But DarkState has more cohesion and has the talent to go on another run at gold. DarkState’s physicality should be a difference maker in this contest against Legacy and Van Dux.
