And we’re officially back with the WNBA. The WNBA Playoffs begin tonight, tipping off at 7:30 PM between the Sun and the Dream. The Wings will host the Sparks at 8 PM alongside the Sky hosting the Mystics. And to round off our night, the Aces will visit the Storm at 10 PM while the Mercury will visit the Fire at the same time.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Rhyne Howard More than 17.5 points
Connecticut has had few answers for Howard this season. She scored 36 points with eight 3-pointers in their June meeting, then added 29 in August, clearing this line before halftime with 23. Atlanta kept finding her off ball screens in that second matchup, giving the Dream a familiar approach to revisit. Howard’s scoring ceiling has shown up in the postseason, too, with 36 and 21 points against Dallas in the 2023 first round. She doesn’t need another performance quite that explosive to reach 18 points.

A’ja Wilson More than 26.5 points
Seattle will again face Wilson without Ezi Magbegor, who is out for the season following an ACL tear. Magbegor also missed their June meeting, when Wilson scored 34 points, giving us a nice example of her production against this depleted frontcourt. Wilson enters averaging 26.0 PPG, just below this line, but Seattle’s limited interior options make the matchup appealing to target. Her ability to handle a heavy scoring load was on display in last year’s Finals, when she averaged 28.5 PPG in Las Vegas’ sweep of Phoenix. She certainly has another gear she’ll be hitting.

Jordin Canada More than 6.5 assists
With Howard and Allisha Gray on the perimeter and Angel Reese inside, Canada has several ways to turn a possession into an assist. Atlanta’s point guard averages 7.4 APG and entered the break with a 10-assist performance against Minnesota, matching her total from June’s win over Connecticut.
She also brings championship experience from Seattle’s 2018 and 2020 title teams, when she supported Sue Bird in a smaller backcourt role. The bigger consideration for this line is playing time: Canada finished with four assists in 27 minutes when August’s Connecticut matchup became a 35-point blowout. Given the stakes tonight, a blowout is probably less likely.

Arike Ogunbowale More than 17.5 points
Six 3-pointers fueled Ogunbowale’s 30-point performance against Los Angeles in June; in July, she scored 20 and helped finish the win after Bueckers exited with an injury. Bueckers played in both games, although her late absence is relevant context for the second result.
Ogunbowale has helped close out a playoff series as well, recording 20 points and seven assists when Dallas eliminated Atlanta in 2023 to reach the semifinals. With her season average sitting at 15.2 PPG, the case for More than 17.5 tonight rests on her success against the Sparks specifically rather than her usual scoring output.
