Check out my best bet below for Kwon Won Il vs. Apollo Gomes at tonight’s edition of Dana White’s Contender Series.
Over 1.5 Rounds (-160)
This is Won Il’s second appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series, as he suffered a second-round knockout loss to Juan Diaz on the show in October 2025. Won Il is in the midst of a two-fight losing streak for the first time in his career. His last victory came against Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg in January 2024 on One Fight Night 18. Won Il competed in One Championship from 2019 to 2025.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Won Il is a -142 favorite, with Gomes being a slight +120 underdog in this fight. Won Il has a two-inch height edge (5’10” vs. 5’8″) and a one-inch reach advantage (71″ vs. 70″). Before Won Il suffered a second-round loss on DWCS last year, he totaled 58 significant strikes, two takedowns, and 2:42 of control time.
Three of Won Il’s last four fights have lasted at least two rounds. Also, Gomes’ previous six contests have gone over 1.5 rounds. Even though Won Il has fought on DWCS before, he is coming off two losses, which makes him hard to back. Gomes is a skilled fighter as well but has come up short before. With this being a close fight on paper, I’m taking the over in this contest at 1.5 rounds, which is -160.
