Dan Hooker is looking to snap a two-fight losing streak against UFC debutant and former KSW Champion Salahdine Parnasse in the Main Event of UFC’s Fight Night in Paris. Hooker has been in the UFC for 12 years and has gone 14-10 in 24 fights in the promotion. The Main Card for this event begins at 3:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Hooker vs. Parnasse: Under 2.5 Rounds (-155)
Hooker has suffered back-to-back losses by finish to Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint Denis in the last 10 months. His last victory came against Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305 in August 2024. Although it’s been over two years since Hooker’s last win, he is still a tough challenge at 155 pounds. After facing two of the best Lightweights in the UFC, Hooker has another tough challenge against Parnasse, who enters the promotion with a ton of hype. After Parnasse left KSW, he competed on the first MVP MMA event, where he scored a first-round knockout against Kenneth Cross in May. All five of Parnasse’s recent victories have come by knockout, and he is 10-1 in his previous 11 contests.
Hooker is taller by two inches (6’0″ vs. 5’10”) while possessing a four-inch reach advantage (75″ vs. 71″) over Parnasse. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Parnasse is a -550 favorite, with Hooker being a +410 underdog. This fight is -600 not to go the distance, as Parnasse is -300 to score a finish while Hooker is +600 to win by knockout or submission.
In Parnasse’s career, 11 of his 15 finishes have taken place in the first two and a half rounds. Also, all 18 of Hooker’s wins by knockout or submission have come in the first 12.5 minutes. With that in mind, my favorite play in this contest is taking this fight to go under 2.5 rounds at -155. Hooker and Parnasse will likely enter this fight searching for a finish as quickly as possible. Even though Hooker is coming off two losses, he can still play spoiler, as he has in the past, making the odds a bit deceiving.
