Tonight’s edition of “The Fight” is headlined by a 12-round Heavyweight contest between former IBF, IBO, and WBO Heavyweight Champion Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Damian Knyba. This is Ruiz’s first fight in over two years, as his last bout came against Jarrell Miller in August 2024. Knyba is looking to get back in the win column after recently suffering his first loss against Agit Kabayel.
Check out my best bet below for Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Damian Knyba at tonight’s edition of “The Fight”.
Andy Ruiz by Decision or Technical Decision (+225)
From 2021 to 2025, Damian Knyba started his professional boxing career 17-0 with 11 knockouts. But Knyba lost to Kabayel by third-round knockout and is now trying to win his first fight since October 2025, when he beat Joey Dawejko. In June 2019, Ruiz shocked the world when he knocked out Anthony Joshua at Madison Square Garden to win the IBF, IBO and WBO titles. But since then, Ruiz has been inconsistent and hasn’t been very active. This will only be Ruiz’s fifth fight since he became Heavyweight Champion over seven years ago.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Ruiz is a -250 favorite with Knyba being the underdog at +190. The over/under is set at 10.5 rounds, with the over at -135 and the under at +100. Ruiz is also +125 to win by knockout and +225 by decision. In this fight, Knyba has a big physical advantage: he is five inches taller (6’7″ vs. 6’2″) and has a massive 12-inch reach advantage (86″ vs. 74″).
Although Ruiz hasn’t been active in the ring recently, he has been improving himself in different areas. Ruiz is in fantastic shape heading into this contest and weighed in at 254.3 pounds, his lowest fight weight since July 2018 against Kevin Johnson. In his previous contest against Miller, Ruiz hit the scale at 274.5 pounds.
Although Ruiz has power, with 22 career knockouts, he hasn’t scored a finish since 2019, with his last two wins coming by decision. With that said, my favorite play in this bout is getting Ruiz to win by decision at +225. Now that Ruiz is slimmer than before, he should be quicker and have a higher output.
