Itauma landed a big right hand early in the first round. Hrgovic was passive and couldn’t generate any offense. Itauma connected at an extremely high rate.

6:06 p.m. ET: Round 2

Less than a minute into the second round, Itauma scored his first knockdown of the fight. Itauma’s speed and accuracy are unbelievable. Hrgovic landed a punch, but then Itauma came back with offense of his own.

6:10 p.m. ET: Round 3

Itauma’s jab was lightning-quick as he landed multiple of them early in the third. In this round, Itauma’s volume was lower.

Itauma came out pressuring Hrgovic in the fourth round. This was an excellent round for the 21-year-old.

Hrgovic has no answers for Itauma right now. In this round, Hrgovic landed more punches, but Itauma connected on the more significant ones.

Itauma got off to a good start in the sixth round. In the sixth, Itauma displayed elite head movement. At the end of the round, both fighters exchanged big punches.

Even though Hrgovic was better in the seventh, Itauma has still been the aggressor.

Hrgovic had another slow start in the first minute of the eighth round. Itauma’s output is on a different level, and he continues to land big punches. With under a minute left, Itauma and Hrgovic both landed powerful shots.

After falling behind, Filip Hrgovic had a second wind and scored a ninth-round knockout over Moses Itauma. Hrgovic moves to 21-1 with 16 knockouts while Itauma suffers his first career loss.

Hrgovic pressured Itauma early in the ninth round. But then Itauma bounced back and landed. Both fighters aren’t moving well at this point in the fight. Itauma was unsteady on his feet but didn’t hit the canvas.

Sam Noakes vs. Denys Berinchyk round-by-round updates

Result: Sam Noakes defeats Denys Berinchyk by unanimous decision (100-90, 99-91, 98-92).

From the start of the contest, Noakes appeared to be the quicker fighter. Berinchyk was moving backward a lot in the first round. Noakes landed some effective power punches.

Noakes displayed his elite accuracy in the second round. Berinchyk is still too passive and needs to be more aggressive to keep up with Noakes.

Noakes continued to move forward and unload punches on Berinchyk. In the third, it looked like Noakes was close to landing a knockout punch.

Noakes landed his right hand multiple times in the fourth. This was another good round for Noakes as he kept inflicting damage on Berinchyk.

Early in this round, not much happened, but Noakes landed more often the longer it went on. Berinchyk doesn’t appear to have as much energy as he did before.

The sixth round featured more of the same, with Noakes getting the best of Berinchyk. Noakes hurt Berinchyk late in the round.

Sam Noakes picks up a victory against Denys Berinchyk in the co-main event of today’s boxing card in London. Noakes is now 19-1 and has won his second consecutive fight since suffering his first loss in November 2025. This is Noakes’s third decision win of his career and his first since December 2024. 

Before this contest, Noakes was +175 to win this fight by decision on DraftKings Sportsbook. Noakes landed 161 total punches, 108 power punches and 53 jabs in this fight. Berinchyk totaled 59 total punches, 40 power punches and 19 jabs.
